Hyderabad: Mrs Aparna Rajhans, NSS Programme Officer, UNIT – l, at St. Joseph’s Degree & PG College delivered a motivational speech today addressing the NSS Volunteers of St. Ann’s College, Mallapur. The topic was NEP Values and NSS.
As the objective of NSS is serving the community, she said, NEP Values of Truth, Peace, Non-violence, Love, Righteous conduct are easy to be assimilated. NSS stands for voluntary service and selfless work. She taught the volunteers to administer the NSS Claps.
She also taught them the Hindi version of the NSS Motto, given by the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, स्वयंसे पहले आप! She asked the volunteers to to take their role seriously and with responsibility. Discipline is an integral part of being an NSS Volunteer.
She also mentioned the Taittiriya Upanishad quotes of, सत्यं वद धर्मं चर! As she was the Contingent Leader of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana RD Parade Camp New Delhi, January 2023, she also shared her invaluable experiences with the young and eager volunteers. She thanked the Principal and the College NSS PO for the opportunity to address the volunteers.
