హైదరాబాద్ : బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత కార్వాన్ లో పూలే జయంతి వేడుకల్లో బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత పాల్గొన్నరు. కవిత మాట్లాడుతూ నెక్లెస్ రోడ్డు పరిసరాల్లో పూలే విగ్రహాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలన్న ప్రభుత్వ యోచనను స్వాగతిస్తున్నామన్నారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ట్యాంక్ బండపై కాసేపటి క్రితం విగ్రహ ఏర్పాటుకు స్థల పరిశీలన చేశారని తెలిసింది. కానీ పూలే విగ్రహాన్ని అసెంబ్లీలో కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి. అసెంబ్లీలో పూలే విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటు చేసే వరకు పోరాటం కొనసాగుతుంది. తెలంగాణ జాగృతి సామాజిక న్యాయం కోసం పోరాటం చేస్తున్న సంస్థ. ఉమ్మడి ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ లోనే దీక్ష చేసి అసెంబ్లీలో అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహాన్ని సాధించుకున్నాం. అసెంబ్లీ పాస్ చేసిన బీసీ బిల్లులను కేంద్రం ఆమోదించేలా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఒత్తిడి తేవాలి.
రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అఖిలపక్షాన్ని ఢిల్లీకి తీసుకెళ్లాలి. 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ల సాధన యుద్దం ఇక్కడ ఆగదు.. ఢిల్లీ వరకు వెళ్తుంది. కులగణన సరిగ్గా జరగలేదని అనేక మంది ఫిర్యాదులు చేశారు. తమ వివరాలు సేకరించలేదని లక్షలాది కుటుంబాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. కాబట్టి కులగణన వివరాలను గ్రామాల వారీగా బహీర్గతం చేయాలి. ఇవన్నీ న్యాయమైన డిమాండ్లు… ప్రభుత్వం కచ్చితంగా పరిగణలోకి తీసుకోవాలి.

BRS Leader strongly reiterated that a statue of Jyotirao Phule must also be installed inside the premises of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, a rightful recognition of Phule’s legacy and a reflection of the decades-long struggle for BC empowerment. “Until this demand is met, our fight will continue,” MLC K. Kavitha asserted.
Highlighting Telangana Jagruthi’s continued role in championing social justice, MLC Kavitha recalled how, during the United Andhra Pradesh era, relentless protests led to the successful installation of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue in the Assembly. “We’ve done this before, and we will do it again,” she said.
BRS Leader MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha also demanded that the Telangana government take a more proactive role in pushing the Centre to approve the pending BC reservation bills passed by the Assembly. She urged the state to lead an all-party delegation to Delhi in this regard.
Referring to the recently conducted caste census, BRS Leader K. Kavitha noted that thousands of families across the state have complained about their details not being collected properly. “The government must publish the caste census data village-wise to ensure transparency and accuracy,” she added
