Victory in Jubilee Hills Will Set the Tone for GHMC Elections: KTR
Hyderabad : Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao held a special meeting with party leaders from Greater Hyderabad to chalk out the strategy for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. The meeting, held at Telangana Bhavan, was attended by MLAs, MLCs, corporators, and former corporators from across the city.
KTR called upon all party leaders to work collectively to ensure the victory of the BRS candidate in Jubilee Hills. He stressed the need to demonstrate the party’s unmatched strength in Hyderabad through this by-election. “The people of Hyderabad have shown immense faith in BRS by electing our candidates in every past election. We must honour and uphold that trust,” KTR said.
He stated that BRS leaders and GHMC corporators are well aware of the city’s issues and must remind citizens of the remarkable development carried out under the previous BRS government. “We need to highlight how, under KCR’s leadership, we improved every street in Hyderabad — from road maintenance and flyover construction under the SRDP project to the 20,000 litres of free drinking water scheme, uninterrupted water supply, modern sanitation management, and welfare programmes that benefited every household,” KTR instructed.
At the same time, he urged leaders to expose the Congress government’s failures. KTR pointed out that basic civic needs in Hyderabad — including sanitation, drinking water supply, and drainage maintenance — have deteriorated sharply under Congress rule. He accused the Congress of ignoring the city’s development and focusing solely on political gains. “People must be reminded of how the Congress has betrayed them and how Hyderabad has suffered widespread neglect and decline during the last 22 months of their rule,” KTR said. He directed party cadres to explain to every section of society how the Congress misled them with false promises and empty assurances.
Expressing confidence, KTR said that a BRS victory in the Jubilee Hills by-election would pave the way for a decisive win in the forthcoming GHMC elections. “The pink flag has flown high over GHMC twice before, and it will fly high for a third time as well,” he declared.
KTR also predicted that the Congress MLAs who defected from the BRS would soon face disqualification, leading to by-elections not only in Jubilee Hills but also in Khairatabad and Serilingampally constituencies. Similar situations could arise in other constituencies across the state where defections occurred, he added.
Concluding his address, KTR expressed confidence that the BRS would secure a clear victory in the Jubilee Hills by-election but urged leaders to work harder for a larger majority. He called on the cadre to reach out to voters and explain the extensive development and welfare measures undertaken during the BRS government’s tenure, urging them to support BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha Gopinath.

హైదరాబాద్ : జూబ్లీహిల్స్ నియోజకవర్గం ఉప ఎన్నికల ప్రచారంలో అనుసరించాల్సిన వ్యూహంపై బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు. తెలంగాణ భవన్లో గ్రేటర్ హైదరాబాద్ పరిధిలోని ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, కార్పొరేటర్లు, మాజీ కార్పొరేటర్లతో ఆయన ప్రత్యేకంగా సమావేశమయ్యారు.
జూబ్లీహిల్స్ ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో నాయకులందరూ కలిసికట్టుగా పని చేయాలని కేటీఆర్ పిలుపునిచ్చారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో భారత రాష్ట్ర సమితికి (బీఆర్ఎస్) ఉన్న అపూర్వమైన బలాన్ని ఈ ఉప ఎన్నికలో చాటాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని స్పష్టం చేశారు. “హైదరాబాద్ నగర ప్రజలు మన పార్టీ పట్ల అద్భుతమైన నమ్మకాన్ని చూపించి వందకు వందశాతం సీట్లను గత ఎన్నికల్లో మన పార్టీకే కట్టబెట్టారు. ఆ నమ్మకాన్ని నిలబెట్టుకోవాలి” అని ఆయన అన్నారు.
నగర నాయకులకు, జీహెచ్ఎంసీ కార్పొరేటర్లకు హైదరాబాద్ సమస్యలపై అవగాహన ఉందని కేటీఆర్ తెలిపారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరం కోసం గతంలో బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వం చేసిన కృషి, చేపట్టిన అన్ని కార్యక్రమాలను ప్రజలకు మరోసారి గుర్తు చేయాలని సూచించారు. “మన ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలోని ప్రతి గల్లీలో రహదారుల నిర్వహణ నుంచి మొదలుకొని ఎస్ఆర్డీపీ ద్వారా చేపట్టిన అద్భుతమైన ఫ్లై ఓవర్ల, 20వేల లీటర్ల ఉచిత తాగు నీటి పథకం, ఆటంకాలు లేకుండా నీటి సరఫరా, అద్భుతమైన పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణ, ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి అందిన అభివృద్ధి సంక్షేమ ఫలాల వరకు అన్నింటిని ప్రజలకు వివరించాలి” అని ఆయన దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు.
మరోవైపు, కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ వైఫల్యాలను ప్రజలకు గుర్తు చేయాలని కేటీఆర్ సూచించారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో రోజురోజుకు దిగజారుతున్న కనీస ప్రజల అవసరాలైన పారిశుద్ధ్యం, తాగునీటి సరఫరా, మురికినీటి కాలువల నిర్వహణ వంటి వాటి సమస్యలను ప్రజలకు వివరించాలని కేటీఆర్ కోరారు. కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ హైదరాబాద్ నగర అభివృద్ధిని పూర్తిగా పక్కన పెట్టి కేవలం రాజకీయాలకే పాల్పడుతుందని ఆయన విమర్శించారు. హైదరాబాద్లో కాంగ్రెస్ మోసాలను, 22 నెలల పాలనలో జరిగిన ‘హైడ్రా విద్వంసం’ను ఎక్కడికక్కడ వివరించాలని తెలిపారు. అన్ని వర్గాల ప్రజలకు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ హామీలు ఇచ్చి మోసం చేసిన తీరును పార్టీ శ్రేణులు వివరించాలని ఆయన దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు.
జూబ్లీహిల్స్ ఉప ఎన్నికలో పార్టీ గెలిస్తే, రాబోయే జీహెచ్ఎంసీ ఎన్నికల్లో ఏకపక్షంగా గెలుస్తామని కేటీఆర్ ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేశారు. “ఇప్పటికే రెండుసార్లు జీహెచ్ఎంసీ పైన గులాబీ జెండా ఎగిరింది. మూడోసారి కూడా గులాబీ జెండా ఎగరడం ఖాయం” అని ఆయన అన్నారు.
జూబ్లీహిల్స్ ఉప ఎన్నిక మాత్రమే కాదని, హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో రానున్న రోజుల్లో పార్టీ మారిన ఖైరతాబాద్, శేర్లింగంపల్లి ఎమ్మెల్యేల పైన అనర్హత వేటు కచ్చితంగా పడుతుందని, ఆ రెండు నియోజకవర్గాల్లో కూడా ఉప ఎన్నికలు తప్పవని కేటీఆర్ అన్నారు. వీటితోపాటు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా పార్టీ మారిన ఎమ్మెల్యేల నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ఉప ఎన్నికలు వస్తాయని తెలిపారు.
జూబ్లీహిల్స్ నియోజకవర్గం ఉప ఎన్నిక విజయం ఖాయమని, అయితే మెజార్టీ కోసం మనం మరింత కష్టపడాలని కేటీఆర్ నాయకత్వానికి సూచించారు. బీఆర్ఎస్ అభ్యర్థి మాగంటి సునీత గోపీనాథ్కు ఓటు వేసేలా ప్రజలకు మన ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు చేసిన అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలను వివరించాలని కోరారు.
