• TPCC chief Revanth Reddy fires on KCR
• Expressed anger over anti-farmer policies
• He expressed anguish over being jailed illegally
• Said CBI came to Kavitha’s house because of that injustice
Hyderabad: TPCC President Revanth Reddy said, “I was jailed illegally in 2015. I was not even allowed to go to my daughter’s wedding card ceremony. Now CBI came to KCR’s daughter’s house. KCR’s sins don’t go away easily. If CBI comes to your house, you will know the pain.” He participated in the farmer protests organised by the Congress party at the Vikarabad Collectorate. KCR used to say Andhras used to attack our dialect and our language.
Revanth expressed anger that after the formation of Telangana, KCR is attacking agriculture – which is our culture. They are trying to surrender agriculture to corporates. Revanth Reddy expressed anger that KCR is conspiring to make farmers as labourers. Revanth questioned while KCR is boasting about giving rythu bheema, why is there no crop insurance? While KCR is not giving insurance to crop damages, he is fixing a price to farmers deaths. As per NCRB, 8000 farmers have committed suicide over the past 8 years. However, as per the state agriculture Minister, 80 thousand farmers have died. About one Lakh farmers have committed suicide since KCR came to power. KCR has no moral right to continue as the Chief Minister.
KCR is behaving like a dictator while ignoring people’s welfare. By adopting anti-farmer policies, KCR is causing immense hardships to the farmers. TRS and BJP have conspired and raked controversies in the state to divert from people’s issues. Telangana society is observing everything. In the name of MLA poaching and Delhi Liquor scam, TRS and BJP are doing dramas. Revanth demanded that everyone involved in Delhi Liquor scam must be put in Tihar jail.
He questioned who is preventing central government from doing that. He said TRS and BJP have been together for 8 years and are doing drama now. KCR supported 3 black farm laws brought by Modi government. Against these farm laws, farmers and Congress party have fought in Delhi borders for 16 months. Revanth said we opposed farmer laws and questioned KCR if he did not support them? Modi is trying to occupy Telangana. He is trying to take away Telangana’s investments to Gujarat. Revanth questioned that while industrialists of Telangana are being raided by ED, CBI, and IT, why are there no such raids in Gujarat.
He questioned KCR if it is not him who purchased Tandur MLA, Pilot Rohit Reddy who was from Congress. Revanth said, “It is you who purchased our Tandur MLA. You purchased 37 MLAs. Why are you shedding crocodile tears? KCR conspired that if there is no Congress, there is no block to KTR. Your party will be broken into pieces. You will bear the brunt of our Congress party Karyakartas. KCR will wither away seeing all this.” Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi faced ED bravely. But, in the MLA poaching case, BJP leader BL Santosh is scared to face ED.
Revanth Reddy questioned, when Santosh has not done any wrong, why is he getting a stay? Why is Kavitha not attending the interrogation? Revanth questioned if it was not KCR who halted Palamuru – Rangareddy project. When AP CM Jagan is stopping Krishna waters, who is stopping Godavari waters? It is KCR’s bankruptcy that he says the Palamuru Rangareddy scheme is 70% finished when no construction took place. Isn’t it KCR’s sin that Rangareddy is deprived of Godavari waters by restricting them to just Medak? Elections can come at any time in Telangana. KCR is eager to go to the polls.
Karyakartas should be ready from now. There is no question of putting demands in front of KCR. There is no need to beg someone. As soon as Congress comes to power, Dharani will be dumped in the Bay of Bengal, and will waive off farm loans worth Rs 2 Lakhs. Revanth Reddy gave a clarion call that soon, we will storm across Telangana and hoist Congress flag.
