yderabad: The Telangana Citizens Council State Branch is organizing the closing ceremony of International Youth Day on August 19, 2025, at the Telangana Saraswata Parishad Auditorium, Abids, Boggukulunta. The ceremony aims to recognize and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to society in various fields. Dr. Raj Narayana Mudiraj, President of the Telangana Citizens Council State Branch in a press release today.
The ceremony will feature the presentation of the Global Icon Youth Award-2025 and the National Unity Award-2025 to outstanding individuals. These awards recognize the achievements and contributions of young individuals who have made a positive impact in their communities.
The ceremony will be presided over by prominent dignitaries, including Telangana Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Dr. Banda Prakash, Ramagundam MLA Makkan Singh Raj Thakur, and Legislative Council member Buggarapu Dayanand Gupta. Other notable guests include Dr. Dandru Kumaraswamy, National President of National BC Dal, and renowned educationist and environmentalist Vaidya Ratna Lion Dr. Komatireddy Gopal Reddy.
The National Unity Award-2025 will be felicitated to individuals who have made significant contributions to society, including Dr. Sabelu Shanthabai, Dr. T. Rajarajeshwari, and Dr. E. Shankar, among others. The Global Youth Award-2025 will be awarded to young individuals who have demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication, including Angath Singh Mantri, Dr. Yogi Raj Vaidya, and Kumari P. Shobhita Reddy, among others.
