Dr M Dhananjay Nayak Receives Human Rights Excellence Award 2024

Hyderabad: Human Rights Excellence Award 2024 presented to Dr. M. Dhananjaya Nayak, a prominent High Court lawyer, on the occasion of Human Rights Day. This International Human Rights Day is about ensuring equal rights and dignity for every human being born on earth, said Justice Dr. G Chandraiah, former first chairman of the Telangana Human Rights Commission and retired judge of the High Court of the AP and Telangana.

On Tuesday, under the auspices of the Telangana Citizens Council, he addressed the event organized on the occasion of International Human Rights Day at the Raja Bahadur Venkatrami Reddy womens Pharmacy College Auditorium in Barkatpura as the chief guest. He explained with examples that every human being has the right to live without any discrimination, be it rich or poor, religious or regional.

Former High Court judge Justice PS Narayana explained with examples that every person has the right to clothing, shelter, food, water, medical care, and security to live with dignity in society. Dr. M. Raj Narayan Mudiraj, State President of Telangana Citizens Council, a non-profit organization, spoke and explained the programs being continuously carried out for public welfare and development for the last forty years.

Dr. M. Dhananjay Nayak, who has been serving as a lawyer of the Telangana High Court for the last two centuries in community service, tribal protection, awareness of the rights of the poor and development, and who holds two degrees in Geology from Osmania University and PhD from NALSAR Law University and is the President of Telangana Tribal Intellectual Forum, was honored with the Human Rights Excellence Award 2024 with a shawl, a memento and a garland of flowers.

On this occasion, OU Assistant Professor Dr. Ravi Teja, College Principal Professor Sumakanth, Vice Principal Dr. Sudha, Dr. MP Kusuma, Lions Club of Hyderabad Samarpan Director lion Premchand Munoth Jain, Nava Bharathi Nirman Foundation President Battula Hemanth and others participated and spoke.
