Hyderabad : Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway held a detailed review meeting on Safety of train operations across the Zone today Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, SCR and Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the six divisions viz., Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded Divisions participated through video conference.
Sanjay Kumar Srivastava while emphasizing on the safety stated that, the safety should remain on top priority in train operations. He instructed that all the officials/staff to maintain discipline in adhering the safety protocols in view of summer season. He instructed all the DRMs to focus on track fitness ensuring safety, the ballast on the tracks should be maintained as per the need in view of summer to maintain track temperature. He instructed the officials to intensify the checks on unauthorized carrying of inflammables in the trains and surveillance to be strengthen at stabling yards, goods sheds by providing additional CCTVs.
He instructed the officials to speed up the construction of ongoing RUB works over the zone to ensure enhanced safety in train movements. The General Manager specially emphasized on the visibility of the signals at the curves and multi tracking areas over the zone. In this aspect, he directed the officials to be more cautious in adopting safety procedures. While discussing on the water logging issues at RUBs, the General Manager instructed the DRMs to address the water logging issue on priority basis and rectify the issue by adopting scientific methods and water pumping mechanism.

హైదరాబాద్ : దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ ఈరోజు సికింద్రాబాద్లోని రైల్ నిలయంలో దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే అదనపు జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సత్య ప్రకాష్ మరియు ప్రధాన విభాగాధిపతులతో కలిసి జోన్ వ్యాప్తంగా రైలు కార్యకలాపాల భద్రతపై వివరణాత్మక సమీక్షా సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో విజయవాడ, గుంతకల్లు , గుంటూరు, సికింద్రాబాద్, హైదరాబాద్ మరియు నాందేడ్ డివిజన్ల మొత్తం ఆరు డివిజన్ల డివిజనల్ రైల్వే మేనేజర్లు (డి.ఆర్.ఎమ్ లు) వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా పాల్గొన్నారు.
సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ భద్రత ఆవశ్యకతను నొక్కి చెబుతూ వేసవి కాలం దృష్ట్యా భద్రతా ప్రోటోకాల్లను పాటించడంలో అందరూ అధికారులు/సిబ్బంది క్రమశిక్షణను పాటించాలని ఆయన ఆదేశించారు. భద్రతను పెంపొందించడానికి ట్రాక్ పటిష్టతపై దృష్టి పెట్టాలని, వేసవికాలం నేపధ్యంలో ట్రాక్ ఉష్ణోగ్రతను అనుకూల వాతావరణాన్నికి తగట్టుగా నిర్వహించడానికి ట్రాక్లపై బ్యాలస్ట్ అవసరానికి అనుగుణంగా వినియోగించాలని ఆయన డివిజనల్ రైల్వే మేనేజర్లను ఆదేశించారు. రైళ్లలో అనధికారికంగా మండేస్వభావంగల వస్తువులను తీసుకెళ్లడంపై తనిఖీలను ముమ్మరం చేయాలని, స్టెబిలింగ్ యార్డులు, గూడ్స్ షెడ్ల వద్ద అదనపు సీసీటీవీలను ఏర్పాటు చేయడం ద్వారా నిఘాను బలోపేతం చేయాలని ఆయన అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
రైళ్ల రాకపోకలలో భద్రతను మెరుగుపరచడానికి జోన్లో జరుగుతున్న ఆర్.యూ.బిల పనుల నిర్మాణాన్ని వేగవంతం చేయాలని ఆయన అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. జనరల్ మేనేజర్, జోన్ పరిధిలోని మలుపులు మరియు బహుళ-ట్రాక్ ప్రాంతాలలో సిగ్నల్స్ స్పష్టంగా కనిపించేలా ఉండటంపై ప్రత్యేకంగా నొక్కి చెప్పారు. ఈ విషయంలో, భద్రతా విధానాలను ఖచ్చితంగా పాటించడంలో అధికారులు మరింత అప్రమత్తంగా వ్యవహరించాలని ఆయన ఆదేశించారు. ఈ అంశంలో, భద్రతా విధానాలను అనుసరించడంలో అధికారులు మరింత జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలని ఆయన ఆదేశించారు. జనరల్ మేనేజర్ ఆర్.యూ.బిల వద్ద నీరు నిలిచిపోయే సమస్యలపై ప్రస్తావిస్తూ, డి.ఆర్.ఎమ్లు ఈ సమస్యను ప్రాధాన్యతా ప్రాతిపదికన పరిష్కరించాలని, అలాగే శాస్త్రీయ పద్ధతులు మరియు నీటి పంపింగ్ యంత్రాంగాలను ఉపయోగించడం ద్వారా సమస్యను సరిదిద్దాలని ఆదేశించారు.
