हैदराबाद : तेलंगाना के नलगोंडा जिले के चंदमपेट मंडल के पोलेपल्ली के किसान लोकसानी पद्म रेड्डी को सर्वश्रेष्ठ बागवानी किसान पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। पद्म रेड्डी को यह प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार राष्ट्रीय बागवानी अनुसंधान परिषद के निदेशक टीके बेहरा ने बेंगलुरु में राष्ट्रीय बागवानी प्रदर्शनी में प्रदान किया।
पोलेपल्ली में पद्म रेड्डी के खेत ने प्राकृतिक और जैविक खेती के तरीकों का उपयोग करके शकरकंद, नींबू, अमरूद और पपीते के बागानों में उच्च पैदावार हासिल की है। इतना ही नहीं, पद्म रेड्डी ने अभिनव खेती के तरीकों को प्रदर्शित करते हुए देश में पहली बागवानी नर्सरी भी स्थापित की है।
राज्य बागवानी विभाग ने बागवानी में पद्म रेड्डी के योगदान को मान्यता दी है और उन्हें सर्वश्रेष्ठ किसान पुरस्कार के लिए अनुशंसित किया है। यह उपलब्धि टिकाऊ खेती के तरीकों के महत्व और किसानों द्वारा अपने समुदायों में महत्वपूर्ण प्रभाव डालने की क्षमता को उजागर करती है।
