విద్యార్ధులు వృత్తి విద్యా నైపుణ్యాలు పెంపొందించుకోవాలి : ప్రొ. ఘంటా చక్రపాణి

హైదరాబాద్ : విద్యార్థులు వృత్తి విద్యా నైపుణ్యాలను పెంపొందించుకోవాలని, దానికి అవసరమైన సాంకేతిక సహాయాన్ని అందించడానికి వీలుగా డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ, స్వామి రామానంద తీర్థ రూరల్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ తో గురువారం అవగాహనా ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకుంది. ఈ మేరకు వీసీ ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి, ఆ సంస్థ చైర్మన్ కిషోర్ రెడ్డి సమక్షంలో యూనివర్సిటీ రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. యల్. విజయ కృష్ణా రెడ్డి, స్వామి రామానంద తీర్థ రూరల్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ డైరెక్టర్ హరి కృష్ణ అవగాహన ఒప్పంద పత్రాలపై సంతకాలు చేశారు.

ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడుతూ ఈ అవగాహన ఒప్పందం ప్రకారం దీన్ దయాళ్ ఉపాధ్యాయ గ్రామీణ కౌశల్య యోజన (DDU-GKY) ద్వారా అందించే వృత్తి విద్యా కోర్సులను అంబేద్కర్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ విద్యార్థులకు అందించేలా ఈ ఒప్పందం జరగిందని వెల్లడించారు. తద్వారా విద్యార్థులకు ఉద్యోగ నైపుణ్యాలు, పరిశ్రమ ఆధారిత శిక్షణ పొందుతారని, కోర్సు పూర్తి అయిన వెంటనే అటు ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలతో పాటు ఇటు స్వయం ఉపాధి పొందొచ్చని వెల్లడించారు. విద్యార్ధులకు ఉపాధి కల్పించేలా, చదువుతూనే సంపాదించుకునేలా పలు ప్రఖ్యాత సంస్థలతో అవగాహనా ఒప్పందాలు చేసుకుంటున్నట్లు వివరించారు.

కిషోర్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ రానున్న రోజుల్లో తమ సంస్థ అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ తో కలిసి ఉపాధి కోర్సులను తెలంగాణా వ్యాప్తంగా విస్తరించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి; స్కిల్ డెవలప్మెంట్, ఒకేషనల్ ట్రైనింగ్ సెంటర్ కో-ఆర్డినేటర్ ప్రొ. పల్లవీ కాబ్డే; ఈ.ఎం.ఆర్.ఆర్.సి. డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. రవీంద్రనాథ్ సోలమన్; పలు విభాగాల డైరెక్టర్లు ఆయా విభాగాల అధిపతులు, డీన్లు తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Hyderabad : Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swamy Ramananda Tirtha Institute (SRTI)at its campus on Thursday. The MoU was signed by Registrar, Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy and Kishore Reddy, chairman, Swamy Ramananda Tirtha Institute and other officials in the presence of Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU at its campus on Thursday.

Prof Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU said the university to provide technical assistance and enhance vocational skills of students, to empower its learners in acquiring vocational skills, vocational courses offered through the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) will be made available to BRAOU students, enabling them to gain employable skills and industry-oriented training.

This initiative reflects BRAOU’s commitment to provide inclusive, skill-based, and practical oriented educational and Training to its learners. The students will get job skills and industry-based training, and they will be able to get job opportunities as well as self-employment immediately after completing the course. He also explained that MoUs are being signed with several renowned institutions to provide employment to the students and to earn money while studying.

Kishore Reddy, chairman, Swamy Ramananda Tirtha Institute, revealed that in the coming days, his organization will expand employment courses across Telangana in collaboration with Ambedkar Open University. Prof.G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director Academic; Prof. Pallavi Kabde, Coordinator, Skill Development and Vocational Training Center, Prof. Rabindranath Solomon, Director EMR&RC All the Directors, Deans were present on the occasion.
