హైదరాబాద్ : డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో జరుగుతున్న మహనీయుల జయంతి ఉత్సవాలను పురస్కరించుకుని నిర్వహిస్తున్న “సామాజిక సాధికారత వారోత్సవాల” లో భాగంగా డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ 135వ జయంతి వేడుకల సందర్భంగా “సాంస్కృతిక, క్రీడా సమ్మేళనాన్ని” విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. జి. పుష్ప చక్రపాణి ప్రారంభించారు. అనంతరం ఆమె మాట్లాడుతూ ఉద్యోగ జీవితంలో నిత్యం బిజీ గా ఉండే ఉద్యోగులు క్రీడల్లో పాల్గొంటూ, క్రమం తప్పకుండా వ్యాయామం చేయాలనీ తద్వారా పని ఒత్తిడి నుంచి ఉపశమనం పొందడమే కాకుండా మానసిక, శారీరకంగా ఆరోగ్యంగా ఉండడానికి అవకాశం ఉంటుందని ఆమె పేర్కొన్నారు.
వారం రోజుల పాటు ఉద్యోగులకు వివిధ ఆటల పోటీలు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు బోధనేతర ఉద్యోగుల సంఘ అధ్యక్షులు కాంతం ప్రేమ్ కుమార్ పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రొ. ఐ. ఆనంద్ పవార్; ప్రొ. వెంకట రమణ; డా. బానోత్ ధర్మ; ప్రొ. కె. కృష్ణా రెడ్డి; డా. వై. వెంకటేశ్వర్లు; ప్రొ. బి. శ్రీనివాస్; బోధనేతర ఉద్యోగుల సంఘ సభ్యులు మియా జనీ, పి. విశ్వనాథ్, వై. అశోక్, కె. పాండు, భరత్ రెడ్డి, డాక్టర్ యాకేశ్ దైదా, అన్ని విభాగాల డైరెక్టర్లు, డీన్లు, ఆయా విభాగాధిపతులు, బోధన మరియు బోధనేతర సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
BRAOU INAUGURATED CULTURAL AND SPORTS MEET
Hyderabad : Prof. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director academic, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) today Inaugurated “Cultural & Sports Meet” as a part of “Social Empowerment Week” on the occasion of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar 135th Birthday Celebrations at its campus, Jubilee Hills, on a grand scale. She stated that employees who are constantly busy in their professional lives should participate in sports and exercise regularly. She noted that doing so would not only provide relief from work-related stress but also enable them to maintain both mental and physical well-being.

హైదరాబాద్ : తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్ శివ్ ప్రతాప్ శుక్లా ను డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయ వైస్-ఛాన్సలర్ ప్రొ.ఘంటా చక్రపాణి, రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. ఎల్వీకే రెడ్డి మర్యాదపూర్వంగా కలిసి విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో జరుగుతున్న మహనీయుల జన్మదినోత్సవాలను పురస్కరించుకుని నిర్వహిస్తున్న “సామాజిక సాధికారత వారోత్సవాల” వివరాలను వివరించారు. ఆదివాసీ, ట్రాన్స్ జెండర్ విద్యార్ధులకు అందిస్తున్న ఉచిత విద్య గురించి వివరించారు.
ఏప్రిల్ 14 న యూనివర్సిటీలో నిర్వహించే అంబేద్కర్ జయంతి వేడుకల్లో పాల్గొని ఆదివాసీ విద్యార్ధులకు జ్యోతి రెడ్డి ఫౌండేషన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో అందించే ప్రోత్సాహక ఫెలోషిప్స్ పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరు కావాలని ఆహ్వానించారు.

Hyderabad : Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, along with Registrar Dr. LVK Reddy, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Telangana State, Shiv Pratap Shukla. Prof. Chakrapani briefed to the Governor on the “Social Empowerment Week” being organized by the university to commemorate the birth anniversaries of eminent personalities. He also explained about free education Schemes being offered by the University to Adivasi and transgender students.
Further, they invited to the Governor to participate in the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Birthday celebrations on April 14 at the campus, and requesting him to attend as the Chief Guest for the distribution ceremony of incentive fellowships being provided to Adivasi students under the aegis of the Jyothi Reddy Foundation.
శిబిరం ప్రారంభం
హైదరాబాద్ : డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో జరుగుతున్న “సామాజిక సాధికారత వారోత్సవాల” లో భాగంగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో మూడు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించనున్న చిత్ర కళా శిబిరం మంగళ వారం ప్రారంభమైంది. కార్యక్రమానికి అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. జి. పుష్ప చక్రపాణి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరై ప్రారంభించారు. అనంతరం ఆమె మాట్లాడుతూ సామాజిక సాధికారక ఉత్సవాల నిర్వహణా ఆవశ్యకతను వివరించారు. కళాకారులు రూపొందించే చిత్రాలు కూడా ఈ నేపథ్యాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని కళాఖండాలను రూపొందించాలని సూచించారు.
విశ్వవిద్యాలయ రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా.యల్. విజయ కృష్ణా రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ కళాకారులు గీసే చిత్రపటాలు గ్రామీణ, పేద విద్యార్ధులకు స్పూర్తిగా నిలవాలని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో వీసీ ఓఎస్డీ ప్రొ. రబింద్రనాథ్ సోలమన్, ప్రొ. పల్లవీ కాబడే, ప్రొ. ఆనంద్ పవార్, ప్రొ. రజనీ అన్ని విభాగాల అధిపతులు, డీన్స్, అధ్యాపక, అధ్యాపకేతర సిబ్బంది ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల నేతలు తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Hyderabad : Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapan, Director Academic, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) today Inaugurated “Cultural & Sports Meet” as a part of “Social Empowerment Week” on the occasion of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar 135th Birthday Celebrations at its campus, Jubilee Hills, on a grand scale. Prof. G. Pushpa highlighted the necessity of organizing social empowerment festivals. She further suggested that artists, too, should create their artworks with this specific context in mind.
Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy, Registrar stated that the paintings created by artists should serve as an inspiration to students from rural and underprivileged backgrounds. Prof. Rabindranath Solomon, OSD to VC; Prof. Pallavi, Prof. I. Anand Pawar, Prof. Prameela Kethavat, Prof. Rajani All Directors, Deans, Heads of Branches, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff Members, representatives of service associations were participated in the program.
