Hyderabad : Telangana State BJP President N Ramchander Rao today alleged that the BRS-Congress rule, which has plundered Telangana over the last 12 years, has left the state with no development and only mounting debts.
While presenting a power point presentation on “12 years of Erosion of Urban Telangana” at Kashish function Hall, Musheerabad attended by union minister G Kishan Reddy and top party senior leaders, Rao stated that during 10-year BRS rule followed by the two-year Congress administration, urban areas in Telangana have suffered a severe economic and administration collapse.
Rao criticized the Congress party for deceiving the public by failing to fulfill a single one of its “6 Guarantees” and 420 promises made before the elections. He lashed out at the government stating that they claimed that government is providing free bus service to women in the state. But it is operating dilapidated buses putting the lives of women at risk.
He revealed that the 123 municipalities in Telangana have accumulated debts totaling Rs 3,600 crore, while the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) alone carries a debt of Rs 5,000 crore. He alleged that Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) have been run through commissions, corruption, and exploitation rather than development, pushing local governance into darkness.
The BJP state chief criticized the failure of systems meant to curb corruption. He noted that although 1,500 officials were caught while taking bribes by the ACB under the Congress rule. But lack of proper action has only emboldened further corruption, he blamed and accused the Congress of pushing the state into a debt trap by borrowing Rs 80,000 crore in just one year under the guise of “change.” He found it appalling that the Chief Minister himself publicly questioned how to pay employee salaries due to a lack of funds. He accused the state Congress government of deceiving even retired employees for not releasing funds for their retirement benefits and nearly 40 retired government employees have committed suicide due to lack of retirement benefits
Rao expressed concern over rising crime rates, unemployment, and crumbling infrastructure in urban areas. He accused the Revanth Reddy government of stooping to appeasement politics for vote banks. He cited the CM’s alleged “Muslim is Congress – Congress is Muslim” rhetoric during the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign as proof of the party’s reliance on communal politics.
He also expressed concern over increasing incidents of attacks on Hindu temples in the state. Instead of taking action against miscreants, police not taking action just branding perpetrators as “ mentally ill” to avoid prosecution. He further alleged that the Congress forcibly converting government lands in Hindi-dominated areas into graveyards for a particular community for vote-bank politics.
The BJP state chief alleged that political morality in Revanth Reddy government has been collapsed. Specifically citing BRS defectors joining Congress as a mockery of the people’s mandate. He warned voters that “a vote for BRS is a vote for Congress.”
Rao highlighted that urban development has been sustained only through central government funds released for various welfare schemes. Modi government has released Rs 12 lakh crore to Telangana during the last 11 years for the development. He said Rs 9512 crore has been spent on National Highways, Railways and the AMRUT mission. The poor people got direct benefits from various schemes like PM Sva-Nidhi (, Mudra Yojana, and Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.
With the slogan of “ Save Telangana-Vote for BJP, He appealed to the public to vote for the Lotus (BJP) in the upcoming municipal elections to ensure genuine development and transparency.

ఎన్నికలకు ముందు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ 6 గ్యారంటీలు, 420కి పైగా హామీలు ఇచ్చిందని, అయితే అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత ఏ ఒక్క హామీని కూడా నెరవేర్చకుండా ప్రజలను మోసం చేసిందని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు విమర్శించారు. మహిళలకు ఫ్రీ బస్ సౌకర్యం కల్పిస్తున్నామని చెబుతున్న కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం, వాస్తవానికి పాడైపోయిన డొక్కు బస్సులను నడుపుతూ మహిళల ప్రాణాలను ప్రమాదంలోకి నెడుతోందని మండిపడ్డారు.
తెలంగాణలోని 123 మున్సిపాలిటీలపై మొత్తం రూ.3,600 కోట్ల అప్పులు పేరుకుపోయాయని, అలాగే గ్రేటర్ హైదరాబాద్ మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ (GHMC) అప్పు మాత్రమే రూ.5,000 కోట్లకు చేరిందని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు. అభివృద్ధి కనిపించకపోయినా, అప్పుల భారం మాత్రం మున్సిపల్ సంస్థలపై తీవ్రంగా మోపారని విరుచుకుపడ్డారు. అభివృద్ధి పేరుతో కాకుండా కమిషన్లు, అవినీతి, దోపిడీ, కరప్షన్ ద్వారానే పట్టణ స్థానిక సంస్థలు నడిచాయని ఆరోపించారు. ఫలితంగా పట్టణ పరిపాలన పూర్తిగా అస్తవ్యస్తమై, స్థానిక సంస్థలు చీకటిలోకి నెట్టబడ్డాయని తెలిపారు.
అవినీతిని అరికట్టాల్సిన వ్యవస్థలే పూర్తిగా విఫలమయ్యాయని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు విమర్శించారు. కాంగ్రెస్ పాలనలో ACB ద్వారా 1500 మంది అధికారులు లంచాలు తీసుకుంటూ పట్టుబడినప్పటికీ, వారిపై సరైన చర్యలు తీసుకోకపోవడం వల్ల అవినీతి మరింత పెరిగిందని పేర్కొన్నారు. కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత “మార్పు” పేరుతో ప్రజలను మోసం చేస్తోందని ఆరోపించారు. గత పాలనల ఆర్థిక వైఫల్యాలను సరిదిద్దడం పక్కనపెట్టి, కేవలం ఒకే ఏడాది కాలంలోనే రూ.80,000 కోట్ల మేర కొత్త అప్పులు చేసి రాష్ట్రాన్ని అప్పుల ఊబిలోకి నెట్టిందని విమర్శించారు. రాష్ట్రంలో కరప్షన్ అండ్ కమీషన్ల పాలన కొనసాగుతోందని అన్నారు. స్వయంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రభుత్వం వద్ద డబ్బుల్లేవని, అలా అయితే ఉద్యోగులకు ఎలా జీతాలు ఇవ్వాలంటూ ప్రశ్నించడం దారుణమని గుర్తుచేశారు.
అదే సమయంలో పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నేరాలు పెరగడం, నిరుద్యోగం అధికమవడం, మౌలిక వసతులు క్షీణించటం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తున్నాయని తెలిపారు. ఇవన్నీ కలిసి పట్టణ తెలంగాణలో ప్రజల జీవన ప్రమాణాలను తీవ్రంగా దెబ్బతీస్తున్నాయని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో రేవంత్ ప్రభుత్వం ఓ వర్గం ఓట్ల కోసం దిగజారి అపీజ్మెంట్ పాలిటిక్స్ చేస్తోందని రాంచందర్ రావు మండిపడ్డారు. ముఖ్యంగా జూబ్లీహిల్స్ ఉపఎన్నికల ప్రచారంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి “ముస్లిం ఈజ్ కాంగ్రెస్ – కాంగ్రెస్ ఈజ్ ముస్లిం” అంటూ మాట్లాడటం ద్వారా కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ మత రాజకీయాలపై ఎంతగా ఆధారపడిందో స్పష్టంగా రుజువైందని అన్నారు.
కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వంలో రాష్ట్రంలో హిందూ దేవాలయాలను కూలగొట్టడం, ఆలయాలపై దాడులు జరగడం ఆందోళనకరమని అన్నారు. ఆలయాలపై దాడులు చేసిన మతోన్మాదులను హిందువులు పట్టిస్తే, ప్రభుత్వం వారిని మానసిక రోగులుగా చిత్రీకరించి వదిలివేయడం దారుణ చర్యగా విమర్శించారు. హైదరాబాద్తో పాటు రాష్ట్రంలోని అనేక జిల్లాల్లో ఇలాంటి ఘటనలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని తెలిపారు. హిందువులకు చెందిన ప్రాంతాల్లోని ప్రభుత్వ భూములను బలవంతంగా ముస్లింల కోసం గ్రేవ్యార్డులుగా మార్చుతూ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ఓటుబ్యాంకు రాజకీయాలు చేస్తోందని మండిపడ్డారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో మహిళలకు భద్రత పూర్తిగా కరువైందని, శాంతిభద్రతలు క్షీణించాయని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు తీవ్రంగా విమర్శించారు. ప్రతిరోజూ ఏదో ఒకచోట ఆడబిడ్డలపై రేప్లు, కదులుతున్న బస్సుల్లో సామూహిక లైంగిక దాడులు, మహిళల ఆత్మహత్యలు.. ఇలా అనేక రకాల నేరాలు జరుగుతున్నాయని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అంతేకాదు, రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు రిటైర్మెంట్ బెనిఫిట్స్ పొందలేక సుమారు 40 మంది వరకు ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవడం బాధాకరమని తెలిపారు. ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్మెంట్ ఇవ్వకపోవడం, రైతులకు రుణమాఫీ, రైతు భరోసా అమలు చేయకపోవడం, ఆటో డ్రైవర్లకు ఇచ్చిన హామీలు నెరవేర్చకపోవడం వల్ల ప్రజలు తీవ్ర ఆర్థిక ఆవేదనకు గురవుతున్నారని చెప్పారు. అదేవిధంగా రాష్ట్రంలో ఆటో డ్రైవర్లు, నేత కార్మికుల ఆత్మహత్యలు, ప్రభుత్వ దవాఖానాల్లో డాక్టర్ల కొరత, నిరుద్యోగం, పెరిగిందని వెల్లడించారు.
తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో రేవంత్ సర్కారు పాలనలో రాజకీయ నైతికత పూర్తిగా పతనమైందని, ముఖ్యంగా పార్టీ ఫిరాయింపులు ప్రజాస్వామ్యాన్ని అపహాస్యం చేస్తున్నాయని విమర్శించారు. బీఆర్ఎస్ నుంచి ఎన్నికైన ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు కాంగ్రెస్లోకి వెళ్లడం ద్వారా ప్రజలు ఇచ్చిన తీర్పును తుంగలో తొక్కినట్లైందని, దీని వల్ల ప్రజల విశ్వాసం తీవ్రంగా దెబ్బతింటోందన్నారు. ఇవన్నీ పరిణామాలు కలిసి పట్టణ తెలంగాణను అవినీతి, అప్పులు, అస్తవ్యస్త పరిపాలన వైపు నెట్టాయని, దీనికి పూర్తి బాధ్యత బీఆర్ఎస్-కాంగ్రెస్ పాలనలదేనని ఎన్. రాంచందర్ రావు గారు స్పష్టం చేశారు. అందుకే బీఆర్ఎస్ కు ఓటు వేస్తే కాంగ్రెస్ కు ఓటు వేసినట్లేనని ప్రజలు గుర్తించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల్లో అవినీతి, అప్పులు, పన్నుల భారం కావాలా? లేదా అభివృద్ధి, పారదర్శకత కావాలా? ప్రజలు ఆలోచించుకోవాలని తెలిపారు.

కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ సహకారంతో అమృత్ మిషన్, స్మార్ట్ సిటీస్, జాతీయ రహదారులు, రైల్వేలు, రాష్ట్రంలో పేద ప్రజలకు ఉచిత రేషన్ వంటి అనేక పథకాల ద్వారా పట్టణాభివృద్ధి సాధ్యమైందని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు తెలిపారు. పీఎం స్వనిధి పథకం ద్వారా 7.2 లక్షల స్ట్రీట్ వెండర్లకు రుణాలు, ముద్ర యోజన, గరీబ్ కళ్యాణ్ అన్నా యోజన పథకాల ద్వారా పట్టణ పేదలకు నేరుగా లబ్ధి చేకూరిందని వివరించారు. గత 11 ఏళ్లలో తెలంగాణకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం రూ.12 లక్షల కోట్ల నిధులు విడుదల చేసిందని స్పష్టం చేశారు. అలాగే జాతీయ రహదారులు, రైల్వేలు, అమృత్ మిషన్ ద్వారా రూ.9,512 కోట్ల మేర అభివృద్ధి పనులు జరిగాయని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు వెల్లడించారు.
తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలోని మున్సిపాలిటీలు, కార్పొరేషన్లు, పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నిజమైన అభివృద్ధి, ప్రజా సంక్షేమం సాధించాలంటే, అలాగే తెలంగాణ భవిష్యత్తు కోసం మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల్లో కమలం గుర్తుకు ఓటేయాలని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు ప్రజలకు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. కాంగ్రెస్, బీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీల పాలన దోపిడీ, కరప్షన్కు కేరాఫ్గా మారిందని, భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ మాత్రమే అభివృద్ధి, నిజాయితీ గల పాలన అందిస్తుందని అన్నారు. అందుకే నగరాలను కాపాడుకోవాలంటే, ప్రజల భవిష్యత్తును రక్షించుకోవాలంటే, మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల్లో కమలం గుర్తుకే ఓటు వేయాలని ఆయన విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. సేవ్ తెలంగాణ – ఓట్ ఫర్ బిజెపి అని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు ప్రజలకు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
