Hyderabad : Telangana State BJP President N Ramchander Rao today said the central government is ready for a CBI investigation into the Singareni and Naidi coal tenders process of SCCL if the state government send a proposal in this regard.
He was addressing a BJP state office bearers meeting held at party office here. Rao demanded a thorough comprehensive probe into the irregularities that have occurred in tenders process from the previous BRS government regime to the present Congress government led by CM Revanth Reddy.
Emphasising that the people have right to know the irregularities in issuing SCCL tenders worth crores of rupees, the BJP state chief directed party workers to expose the misdeeds of previous BRS government and present Congress government in handing over tenders to kith and kin of ruling party leaders. He also asked party workers to explain the central government’s welfare schemes at the ground level effectively.
On the issue of foreign trips of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his team to attract investments, Rao demanded a white paper on the investments garnered during two Davos visits made so far. “We will not oppose visiting of foreign countries. But the people should know where the investments announced during his previous Davos trips were invested and how many people secured jobs.
A meeting of party office bearers was held under the chairmanship of state president N Ramchander Rao and reviewed the performance of the state committees and its affiliated wings. The meeting also held extensive discussions on the programs to be undertaken by the party in view of the upcoming municipal elections.

కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ పథకాలను క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో వివరించాలని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు. అదేవిధంగా అనుబంధ విభాగాల పనితీరుపై కూడా రాంచందర్ రావు గారు సమీక్ష చేశారు. బిజెపి అగ్రనేతలతో రెండు ఉమ్మడి జిల్లాలకు ఒకటి చొప్పున ఐదు భారీ బహిరంగ సభలు ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు వివరించారు. సింగరేణి, నైనీ కోల్ టెండర్ల విషయంలో రాష్ట్రం కోరితే సీబీఐ విచారణకు కేంద్రం సిద్ధంగా ఉందని తెలిపారు.
సీబీఐ ద్వారా గత బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వ కాలం నుండి ఇప్పటివరకు జరిగిన అక్రమాలపై దర్యాప్తు జరగాలని బీజేపీ డిమాండ్ అని చెప్పారు. గతంలో దావోస్ పర్యటనకు వెళ్లిన సమయంలో సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రకటించిన పెట్టుబడులు ఎక్కడ పెట్టారో, ఎంతమందికి ఉద్యోగాలు లభించాయో, అనే విషయాలు ప్రజలకు చూపించాలని సవాల్ విసిరారు. ఇప్పటికి రెండుసార్లు దావోస్ పర్యటనల్లో వచ్చిన పెట్టుబడులపై వైట్ పేపర్ (శ్వేతపత్రం) విడుదల చేయాలని ఈ సందర్భంగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
