Hyderabad: Today, on the occasion of the 118th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Bajrang Sena Telangana State President N R Laxman Rao garlanded the statue of the great revolutionary at Gowliguda, opposite Central Gurdwara, Hyderabad.
Addressing those present, Laxman Rao recalled Bhagat Singh’s unparalleled courage and sacrifice in India’s freedom struggle. He reminded everyone that Bhagat Singh, at a very young age, embraced the gallows for the sake of the nation’s freedom a supreme act of patriotism that continues to inspire generations.

Laxman Rao also appealed to the Government of India and Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to recognize Bhagat Singh’s invaluable contribution to the nation by conferring upon him the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award.
