Hyderabad: Telangana Legislative Council Deputy Chairman and former Member of Parliament Dr Banda Prakash said that Hyderabad city is an ideal for all of us for peace and religious harmony. Under the auspices of the Telangana Citizen Council organization, he spoke as the chief guest at the Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and International Day of Non-Violence closing celebrations at the Telangana Saraswata Parishad Auditorium at Boggikunta, Abids on Tuesday.
Right from the student stage, students and young people should follow the path of peace and contribute to the unity and development of the country. Members of the Telangana Legislative Council, MLC Mr. Buggarapu Dayananda Gupta said that nothing can be achieved in life through violence and we should live a peaceful life in unity across caste and religion and participate in the development of the state. Former High Court judge Justice B Chandrakumar said that if we follow Gandhi’s ideals of peace and non-violence, the society will progress in all areas.

State BC Commission Chairman Mr. Gopishetty Niranjan said that today’s youth students should study the sacrifices made by Mahatma Gandhi for the country in the freedom struggle movement and contribute to the development of the country and provide the correct family members’ details to the officials who come for door-to-door BC surveys.
