Hyderabad: In this dynamic and globalised world, students should learn a foreign language to stay competitive, according to Prof. Alison Nicole, an international educator teaching at Woxsen University.

Addressing the students of the School of Liberal Arts and Humanities as part of the Orientation programme at Woxsen university on its campus at Sadashivpet in Sangareddy district, she said: “A bit of effort and some amount of courage are needed to learn a new language but it significantly benefits your career.” Prof. Alison Nicole, who teaches Spanish and global courses, pointed out that technological advancement made language learning much easier.
Dr. P.V. Satya Prasad, Associate Professor and Henry Giroux Dean School of Liberal Arts & Humanities at Woxsen University, expressed his happiness over enrolling students with strong academic credentials in various departments of the School this year too. As part of the orientation, students participated in pulsating hour-long Zumba session organised at the Sportex facility before engaging in a highly interactive session with members of the Debate Club.
