Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Vice-President Mujahid Alam Khan said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s unwavering commitment to social justice, secularism, and equality is not just inspiring millions but also actively shaping a new and inclusive India.
On the occasion of Rahul Gandhi’s birthday on Wednesday, Mujahid Alam Khan said the Congress leader’s vision was being transformed into action by progressive governments like Telangana’s, and his influence had forced even the ruling BJP to follow his lead on key social issues.
In a media statement, Mujahid Alam Khan said Rahul Gandhi was not just a political leader, but a symbol of courage and compassion who had been fighting for the rights of the poor, backward classes, minorities, women, youth, farmers, and all marginalized sections of society. He said that Rahul Gandhi’s idea of India was rooted in love, unity, and inclusive growth, where every citizen, regardless of caste, creed, or religion, was treated with respect and dignity.

He said the Congress government in Telangana, headed by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, was sincerely working to convert Rahul Gandhi’s ideology of social justice into a ground reality. “It was Rahul Gandhi who mooted the idea of conducting a caste census in the country to ensure equal share for every community based on population. Acting upon his vision, the Telangana Congress Government conducted the country’s first-ever caste survey. This historic step has set a national benchmark and will help bring real empowerment to backward and under-represented sections,” he said.
Mujahid Alam Khan pointed out that it was only because of Rahul Gandhi’s constant pressure that the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre was forced to agree to a nationwide caste census. “Despite being in the opposition, Rahul Gandhi has achieved what the BJP could not achieve even after being in power for ten years. This proves the strength of his conviction and his commitment to the people of India,” he said.
The TPCC leader said that Rahul Gandhi represented the aspirations of the common man and had emerged as a strong voice for the voiceless. “In these difficult times, when constitutional values are under attack, Rahul Gandhi is showing the way forward by upholding the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, Babasaheb Ambedkar, and Jawaharlal Nehru,” he said.
Mujahid Alam Khan wished Rahul Gandhi a long, healthy, and successful life, and expressed confidence that under his leadership, India would move towards a brighter and more just future. He also appealed to Congress workers and citizens to strengthen Rahul Gandhi’s hands in building a progressive, peaceful, and secular India.
