NITHM: Workshop On Stakeholder Involvement In Course Curriculum Development

Scheduled for 17th and 19th April 2025

Hyderabad: The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) is proud to announce a significant milestone in its academic journey with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) granting approval for a pioneering project titled ‘Advancing Sustainability and Technology in Tourism, Hospitality, and Service Studies through Strategic Industry Partnerships’ (SIPAS).

As part of this initiative, NITHM will host a two-day workshop aimed at fostering collaborative stakeholder involvement in the development of tourism and hospitality course curricula. This event will serve as a platform for key industry stakeholders and academic leaders to join forces and shape the future of tourism education in alignment with emerging industry needs.

Day -1 for Tourism Industry Stakeholders
Date: 17th April 2025
Venue: The Plaza Hotel, Next to Pragathi Bhavan, Begumpet, Hyderabad

Day-2 for Academia from Tourism & Hospitality Institutions
Date: 19th April 2025
Venue: NITHM Campus, Telecom Nagar, Gachibowli, Hyderabad

Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (VUAS), Latvia
National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (NITHM), India
Pondicherry University, India
Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (IPS), Portugal

The objective of the workshop is to engage key tourism industry stakeholders in shaping and enhancing curriculum frameworks that are both innovative and aligned with the demands of the industry. Renowned experts and experienced stakeholders will share their insights and collaborate on refining academic programs to meet the evolving needs of the tourism and hospitality sectors.
