Hyderabad : Dr Venkataramana Kalikivayi, Dean of the School of Medical and Health Sciences at MNR University, has been appointed as a Professional Council member for Optometry in National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The appointment, effective from March 26, 2025, marks a significant recognition of his contributions to the field of optometry.
NCAHP is National commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions serves as the regulatory authority overseeing the allied and healthcare professions across India. It is responsible for individual and institutional registrations, standardizing syllabi and nomenclature, and ensuring the consistent quality of optometry graduates, allied and healthcare graduates nationwide. The commission’s efforts aim to enhance the overall quality of eye care services, allied and healthcare services in the country.
