Dialogue, Not Death: MLC K. Kavitha Slams Centre’s Anti-Naxal Operation in Chhattisgarh

Hyderabad : BRS MLC K. Kavitha today demanded an immediate halt to ‘Operation Kagar’ in Chhattisgarh, against Naxalites. She emphasised that the ideology of Naxalism must be addressed through dialogue, not destruction.
BRS Leader MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha said, “Operation Kagar is being carried out in Chhattisgarh and our party firmly believes that the ideology of Naxalism should be eradicated only through dialogue and not by the use of force.
India must find a political solution to Naxalism. I believe the central government should immediately call for a ceasefire, invite the Naxalites for talks, and I am very confident that every party in this country will support this cause.”
Backing the reported Maoist proposal for peace talks, BRS Chief KCR had earlier asserted that eliminating youth and tribals in the name of anti-Maoist operations is against the spirit of democracy.
She urged the Union government to immediately halt Operation Kagar and seek a political resolution instead of armed confrontation. MLC Kavitha said that BRS firmly believes that lasting peace can only be achieved through negotiation, not force.

హైదరాబాద్ : మావోయిస్టుల ఏరివేతకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం చేస్తున్న ఆపరేషన్ కగార్ ను వెంటనే నిలిపివేయాలని బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత డిమాండ్ చేశారు. తక్షణమే మావోయిస్టులను కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం శాంతి చర్చలకు ఆహ్వానించాలని కోరారు.
సోమవారం నాడు ఆమె తన నివాసంలో మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ… కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రజాస్వామ్యయుతంగా వ్యవహరించాలని సూచించారు. శాంతి చర్చలకు సిద్ధమని ఇప్పటికే మావోయిస్టులు ప్రకటించిన నేపథ్యంలో కేంద్రం ముందుకు రావాలని అన్నారు. మావోయిస్ట ప్రభావిత రాష్ట్రాల్లోని అన్ని రాజకీయ పార్టీలతో మాట్లాడి ప్రభుత్వం సలహాలు, సూచనలు తీసుకోవాలని, కేవలం చర్చల ద్వారా మాత్రమే శాంతిని నెలకొల్పడం సాధ్యమవుతుందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
కాల్పులతో మావోయిస్టులను అంతం చేస్తామన్న కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వపు విధానం సరికాదని సూచించారు. ప్రజాస్వామ్యబద్ధంగా శాంతి చర్చలు నిర్వహించాలని అన్నారు. పదేళ్ల బీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ హయాంలో అనేక మంది నక్సలైట్లు సరెండర్ అయ్యారని, కేసీఆర్ గారు తీసుకున్న విధానపరమైన నిర్ణయాల వల్ల చత్తీస్ ఘడ్ నుంచి వచ్చి కూడా తెలంగాణలో నక్సలైట్లు జనజీవన స్రవంతిలో కలిశారని గుర్తు చేశారు. కేసీఆర్ గారి విధానాలను ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వం కూడా కొనసాగించాలని, సరెండర్లను ప్రోత్సహించి వారికి జీవనోపాధి కల్పించడానికి ప్రభుత్వాలు కృషి చేయాలని అన్నారు. పోలీసులు, మావోయిస్టుల మధ్య ఆదివాసీలు నలిగిపోతున్నారని, ఎవరు చనిపోయినా కూడా మన దేశ పౌరులే కాబట్టి కేంద్రం చొరువ తీసుకోవాలని తెలిపారు.
కేసీఆర్ గారు తీసుకున్న విధానపరమైన నిర్ణయాల వల్ల చత్తీస్ ఘడ్ నుంచి వచ్చి కూడా తెలంగాణలో నక్సలైట్లు జనజీవన స్రవంతిలో కలిశారు. కేసీఆర్ గారు విధానాలను ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వం కూడా కొనసాగించాలి. పోలీసులు, మావోయిస్టుల మధ్య ఆదివాసీలు నలిగిపోతున్నారు. ఎవరు చనిపోయినా కూడా మన దేశ పౌరులే కాబట్టి కేంద్రం చొరువ తీసుకోవాలి.
