Hyderabad: Students of National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Gachibowli Hyderabad were volunteer’s for the 72nd Edition of Miss World Contest held from 07th – 31st May 2025. The teams of students were enthusiastic and hospitable, very dedicated to their duties at various events held during the Miss World’25.
Students exhibited their talent and service as the Opening Ceremony at The Gachibowli stadium on the 10th May’25, thereafter they also had an opportunity to work with various teams at Chowmala Palace, Warangal fort, Ramappa temple, Shilparamam Art & Craft Village, Chilkur, Gachibowli Stadium, Secretariat, Hitex and the Closing ceremony.

Totally 30 students volunteered their service with complete dedication and passion, as this was a once in a lifetime event for them. On the 09th Jun’25, A thanksgiving meet was organised by the Govt of Telangana. All the student volunteers along with faculty Coordinators from various colleges were invited for a Facilitation Program at the State Art Gallery. On the Dias was Miss World’25 from Thailand, Ms. Opal Suchata Chuangsri with Jupally Krishna Rao the Tourism Minsiter Telangana, Jayesh Ranjan, IAS Special Chief Secretary of Telangana Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture department, DGP (Director General of Police) of Telangana is Dr. Jitender along with Zendage Hanumant Kondiba, IAS Director Department of Tourism Government of Telangana. Director of NITHM.

The evening began with showcasing a video of all the Miss World Participants at various events and their visits over all the places in Hyderabad and Telangana. There after each dignitary spoke* thanking all departments for cooperating towards the success of the month long event of Miss World 2025. Congratulating each individual for their contribution towards the grand success of the Miss World’25. The felicitation began with the student coordinators from various colleges, then the student volunteers, followed by each the individual tourism departments who contributed to the success of the event, then all the press and media, the event companies, the catering companies, the hotels, GHMC, Police, Airport and a few individuals who contributed their services.

It was a great honor, as NITHM received a memento from Ms. Opal Suchata Chuangsri, Miss World’25 for fanstist contribution of student volunteers who worked towards the success of each event. Mrs. Michelle J Francis Sr. Asst. Professor received the Memento on behalf of of NITHM.
