SC Railway’s Rajesh bags Jury Appreciation
Hyderabad: Dr P Harsha Bhargavi, Assistant Director (PR), National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, has won the coveted National Award “Dr CVN-PRSI Best PR Manager of the Year 2023” while Sri K Rajesh, PRO, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, bagged special appreciation award.
The CVNPR Foundation and Public Relations Society of India’s Hyderabad chapter announced the verdict of a six-member national jury in a press release on Friday. “The contribution of Dr Harsha, who is on deputation from Telangana’s Information and Public Relations Department to the field made her the clear winner of this year’s award.
A PhD in communication and journalism, Dr Harsha carved a niche for herself with her proactive professional and academic achievements,” the Foundation Secretary C.Ravinder Reddy and PRSI Hyderabad chapter Chairman Dr S. Ramu said.
South Central Railway’s Rajesh too impressed the jury with his remarkable contribution for which he won a special appreciation, Y Babji, Member-Convener, Jury Committee, said.
Finance Minister T. Harish Rao is going to present the awards at a function to be held on Sunday to mark PR Education Day. Ambassador Rajashekar, IFS, Mr. P. Ashok Reddy, IAS, I and PR special commissioner, Dr Ajit Pathak, PRSI national president and other dignitaries are going to take part in the programme to be presided over by Dr KV Ramanchary, Advisor, Government of Telangana.
A technology expert Hemanth Satyanarayana is going to deliver a talk on the impact of AI on PR. In recognition of their services to the field of PR educators, academic counsellors and meritious students will also be felicitated. The winners of the award are as follows:
