హైదరాబాద్ : డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం, సెంటర్ ఫర్ ఇంటర్నల్ క్వాలిటీ అస్యూరెన్స్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ప్రత్యేక ప్రసంగాల కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా నిర్వహించిన మూడో ప్రసంగానికి భారత ప్రభుత్వ విద్యా మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ మాజీ ఒ.యస్.డి, జాతీయ విద్యా విధానం డ్రాఫ్ట్ కమిటీ కార్యదర్శి డా. షకీలా శంసు ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరై “జాతీయ విద్యా విధానం – 2020 ద్వారా ఉన్నత విద్య, దూర విద్యా విధానంలో మార్పులు” అనే అంశంపై ఆమె ప్రసంగించారు.
డా. శంసు మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్నత విద్యా విధానంలో అనేక మార్పులు వస్తునాయని వీటిని దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని విద్యా వ్యవస్థలో ఆధునిక పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని విరివిగా ఉపయోగించుకోవాలని ఆమె సూచించారు. ఉన్నత విద్యా విధానంలో ఆన్‌లైన్ కోర్సుల అభివృద్ధికి డిజిటల్ రిపాజిటరీలో మూక్స్ ద్వార క్రెడిట్-ఆధారిత గుర్తింపు ODLని విస్తరించడానికి ప్రయత్నం జరుగుతోందన్నారు. ఉన్నత విద్యలో ప్రస్తుతం స్థూల నమోదు నిష్పత్తి 27.1% ఉండగా ఇది 2035 నాటికి 50% వరకు పెంచాలన్నదే లక్ష్యంగా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు వెల్తోందన్నారు. ఈ కొత్త విద్యా విధానం ICT ద్వార డ్యూయల్ మోడ్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ సిస్టమ్, హైబ్రిడ్ & బ్లెండెడ్ లెర్నింగ్, డిజిటల్ & వర్చువల్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలను విస్తృత పర్చాలన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి అధ్యక్షత వహించిన విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య. కె. సీతారామారావు మాట్లాడుతూ దేశంలో దూరవిద్యా విధానాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టిన డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం అనేక విశ్వవిద్యాలయలకు మార్గదర్శిగా మారిందని, నూతన విద్యా విధానంలో అమలు అవుతున్న అనేక అంశాలు ఇప్పటికే తమ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో అమలులో ఉన్నాయని ఆయన వివరించారు. ఉన్నత విద్యలో సమాచార సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని విస్తృతంగా ఉపయోగించుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు. దేశంలో నూతన విద్యావిధానంపై ఆసక్తికరంగా చర్చ నడుస్తుందని, త్వరలోనే దేశంలోని అన్ని విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల్లో అమలు చేయాలని కేంద్రం అడుగులు వేస్తుందన్నారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో గౌరవ అతిథులుగా పాల్గొన్న విశ్వవిద్యాలయం అకడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. జి. పుష్ప చక్రపాణి, రిజిస్ట్రార్ ప్రొ. ఎ.వి.ఆర్.ఎన్. రెడ్డి ప్రసంగించారు. సికా డైరెక్టర్ డా. కె. శ్రీదేవి మాట్లాడుతూ జాతీయ నూతన విద్యా విధానం – 2020 ఆవశ్యకత, విశ్వవిద్యాలయం చేస్తున్న కృషిని వివరించి, ముఖ్య అతిథిని సభకు పరిచయం చేశారు. కార్యక్రమంలో విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అన్ని విభాగాల డైరెక్టర్లు, డీన్స్, అధ్యాపక, అధ్యపకేతర సిబ్బంది ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల నాయకులు, పరిశోధక విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
THE OBJECTIVE OF NEP – 2020 IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY HIGHER EDUCATION : NEP Draft Committee Secretary Dr Shakila Shamsu
Hyderabad: Dr B R Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Centre for internal Quality Assurance (CIQA) organized third lecture as a part of Special Lecture Series on March 5, 2024 at the University Campus. Dr Shakila Shamsu,Former OSD (NEP) Ministry of Education, Govt. of India and Secretary, Erstwhile Committee to Draft NEP, was the Chief Guest and delivered a lecture on “Catalysing Transformations in Higher Education and ODL through NEP 2020”.
Dr Shamsu while saying that there will be many changes in the higher education system all over the world, she suggested that modern knowledge should be widely used in the education system. Efforts are being made to expand credit-based recognition ODL through Mooks in digital repository for development of online courses in higher education system.
She said that while the current gross enrollment ratio in higher education is 27.1%, the central government is aiming to increase it to 50% by 2035. This new education system aims to expand dual mode education system, hybrid & blended learning, digital & virtual universities through ICT.
Prof K Seetharama Rao, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU presided over the program. Prof Rao said that there is a need to make extensive use of information technology in higher education. He said that there is an interesting discussion on the new education system in the country and soon the Center will take steps to implement it in all the universities of the country.
Prof G Pushpa Chakrapani, Director (Academic), Prof AVRN Reddy, Registrar attended as Guests of Honour spoke on the occasion. Dr K Sridevi, Director Incharge, CIQA initiated the Special Lecture Series and explain the aims, objectives and introduced about the chief guest. All Directors, Deans, Heads of the Branches, Teaching staff members, Representatives services Associations, research Scholars and students were participated.

అంబేద్కర్ వర్శిటీ వ్యవస్థాపక వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ గా ప్రొ. రాం రెడ్డి ఆశయాలను భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు చేరేలా, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంత విద్యార్ధులకు ఉపయోగపడేలా ప్రతీ సంవత్సరం కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ట్రస్ట్ తరపున రూ. 11,50,000 (పదకొండు లక్షల యాభై వేలు) ల చెక్కును విశ్వవిద్యాలయానికి ప్రొ. రాం రెడ్డి స్మారక కార్యక్రమాల నిర్వహణ కోసం ట్రస్ట్ కార్యదర్శి ప్రొ. హరగోపాల్, ట్రస్ట్ సలహాదారు, విశ్వవిద్యాలయ మాజీ వీసీ ప్రొ. వి. ఎస్. ప్రసాద్ తదితరులు రిజిస్ట్రార్ ప్రొ. ఏ. వి. ఆర్. ఎన్ .రెడ్డి కి అందించారు.

BRAOU MoU with Prof. G. Ram Reddy Memorial Trust
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) and Prof. G. Ram Reddy memorial Trust, Hyderabad entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU signed and exchanged by Prof. A. V. R. N Reddy, Registrar and Prof. G. Haragopal, Secretary, Prof. G. Ram Reddy memorial Trust, Hyderabad in the presence of Prof. K. Seetharama Rao, Vice – Chancellor, BRAOU.
In the memory of Doyen of distance Education and Founder vice-Chancellor, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University , Prof. G. Ram Reddy The University every year organizing Prof. G Ram Reddy memorial lecture to make the aspirations reach the future generations and benefit of the rural students. In this occasion, a check of Rs 11,50,000 (Eleven Lakh Fifty Thousand) was presented to the University on behalf Prof.G.Ram Reddy memorial Trust.
