हैदराबाद: एलबी नगर पुलिस ने हस्तिनापुरम की पार्षद बानोत सुजाता का कथित तौर पर अपमान करने के आरोप में विधायक डी सुधीर रेड्डी के खिलाफ एससी/एसटी एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है। सुजाता ने आरोप लगाया कि 17 मार्च को विधायक ने उनके खिलाफ अपमानजनक टिप्पणी की।
एफआईआर के अनुसार, सुधीर रेड्डी ने कथित तौर पर कहा कि सुजाता और अभियान समिति के अध्यक्ष और एलबी नगर प्रभारी मधुयाश्की के बीच हनीमून जारी है। यह जानते हुए भी कि वह लम्बाडा समुदाय से हैं। इस तरह विधायक ने उनका अपमान किया। यह पहली घटना नहीं है, सुधीर रेड्डी के खिलाफ पहले भी उनके खिलाफ जाति-आधारित टिप्पणी करने का आरोप लगाया है।
Case Against MLA D Sudheer Reddy Under the SC/ST Act
Hyderabad: LB Nagar police have filed a case against MLA D Sudheer Reddy under the SC/ST Act for allegedly insulting Hastinapuram councilor Banot Sujata. Sujata alleged that the MLA made derogatory comments against her on March 17.
According to the FIR, Sudheer Reddy allegedly said that Sujata and Madhuyashki, the chairman of the campaign committee and in-charge of LB Nagar, were on a honeymoon, despite knowing that she belongs to the Lambada community. This is not the first instance, as Sudheer Reddy has previously been accused of making caste-based comments against others.
