Hyderabad: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) in collaboration with Retailers Association Skill Council of India (RASCI) conducted Job Mela for “Stipend Based Apprenticeship Program (SAP) Students” at its campus on Thursday. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice Chancellor, BRAOU attended as the chief guest for the program.
He said Every student will be empowered with scholarship-based education, In order to enhance the skills of the students along with their studies. The students of this University have the opportunity to earn a minimum of Rs. 7,000 to a maximum of Rs. 24,000 or more per month on the basis of stipend along with their studies.
The University goal is to provide employment opportunities to every student along with their studies or to make them entrepreneurs. Keeping the future of the students in mind, we will organize more job fairs with renowned organizations in the coming days. He urged the students to take advantage of the stipend-based education (Stipend-Based Apprenticeship Program).
The our aim is to prepare Open University students to the level of managers after completing the stipend-based degree. The Telangana government has taken the initiative to prepare female students as entrepreneurs, by developing innovative and leadership qualities in women in urban and rural areas, their economic capacity will be useful for the development of society.
He reminded that Dr.B.R.Anbedkar Open University has signed a prestigious MoU with WE-Hub also. He announced that short-term vocational courses will be provided to rural and tribal students through Swami Ramananda Tirtha Rural Institute with strategic skill partnerships.
Mr. Sameer Narsapur, Head, Standards & Quality Assurance (RASCI) joined through online from Mumbai and Ms. Chanda Vadde, General Manager, Industry and Academia, RASCI (South Region) said that students can achieve a degree certificate in addition to becoming professionals landing them more job opportunities.
The programs have been designed with the concept of Individual, Institution, Industry and India (Four-I’s) will be very beneficial to the students of BRAOU, the curriculum will be a combination of educational journey combined with professional experience and understanding of academic theory along with practicality.
She also assured that every student will be financially independent and empowered through this program. Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director Academic; Dr. L. Vijya Krishna Reddy, Registrar; Prof. Rabindranath Solomon; Prof. Pallavi Kabde; Dr. Y. Venkateshwarlu, Prof. Vaddanam Srinivas, Prof. G. హైదరాబాద్ : ఉపకారవేతన ఆధారిత విధ్యాభ్యాసంతోనే ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి సాధికారత లభిస్తుందని అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి పేర్కొన్నారు. విద్యార్ధుల్లో చదువుతో పాటు నైపుణ్యాన్ని పెంపొందిస్తూ వారికి చదువుతో పాటు స్టైఫండ్ అందిస్తూ వారి కాళ్ళపైన వారే నిలపడేలా డా. బి.ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం రిటైలర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ స్కిల్ కౌన్సిల్ అఫ్ ఇండియా (RASCI) ఆధ్వరంలో గురువారం అవగాహనా కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు.
విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడుతూ అంబేద్కర్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ విద్యార్థులకు చదువుతో పాటు, స్టైఫండ్ ను నెలకు కనీసంగా రూ. ఏడు వేల నుంచి గరిష్టంగా రూ. 24 వేల వరకు వారి వారి స్కిల్స్ ను బట్టి అంత కంటే ఎక్కువ సంపాదించుకునే అవకాశం ఉందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రతి విద్యార్థి కి చదువుతో పాటు స్కిల్స్ పెంపొందించడం, ఉద్యోగ అవకాశం కల్పించడం, వ్యాపారవేత్తలుగా తయారు చేయడమే తమ లక్ష్యమని పేర్కొన్నారు. విద్యార్ధుల భవిష్యత్ ని దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని రానున్న రోజుల్లో ప్రఖ్యాత సంస్థలతో మరిన్ని ఉద్యోగ మేళాలను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని వెల్లండించారు.
స్టైఫండ్ ఆధారిత విద్యను (స్టైఫండ్ బేస్డ్ అప్రెంటిషిప్ ప్రోగ్రాం) సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని విద్యార్ధులకు సూచించారు. తమ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో చేరి స్టైఫండ్ ఆధారిత డిగ్రీ పూర్తవగానే వారి వారి సామర్ధ్యం మేరకు వారిని ఆయా సంస్థల్లో ఇంచార్జ్ లుగా , మేనేజర్ స్థాయికి ఎదిగేలా ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ విద్యార్ధిని తీర్చిదిద్దడమే తమ కర్తవ్యమని పేర్కొన్నారు. మహిళా విద్యార్ధినులను పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలుగా తయారు చేయడం కోసం తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం చొరవ తీసుకుందని అన్నారు.
పట్టణ, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాలలోని మహిళల్లో సరికొత్త ఆవిష్కరణ, నాయకత్వ లక్షణాలను పెంపొందించడం ద్వారా వారిలో ఆర్థిక సామర్థ్యం సమాజ అభివృద్ధికి ఉపయోగపడుతుందని వివరించారు. వి-హబ్ (WE-Hub)తో అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ ప్రతిష్టాత్మకమైన అవగాహనా ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకుందని గుర్తుచేసారు. వ్యూహాత్మక నైపుణ్య సహకారాలను అందించే భాగస్వామ్యలతో స్వామి రామానంద తీర్థ రూరల్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ద్వార గ్రామీణ, గిరిజన విద్యార్ధులకు స్వల్పకాలిక వృత్తి విద్యా కోర్సులను అందిస్తామని వెల్లండించారు. ఈ కోర్సు లో ఇప్పటి వరకు వెబ్ సైట్ ద్వారా నమోదు చేసుకొని ఫీజు చెల్లించిన విద్యార్ధులకు త్వరలోనే ఆయా సంస్థల్లో ఉద్యోగాలు అందించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
రిటైలర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ స్కిల్ కౌన్సిల్ అఫ్ ఇండియా (RASCI) నాణ్యత పరిశోధన విభాగ అధిపతి సమీర్ నర్సాపూర్ ఆన్లైన్ లో ముంబాయి నుంచి పాల్గొనగా, దక్షిణ భారత దేశ ఇండస్ట్రీ, అకాడమిక్ జనరల్ మేనేజర్ చందా వడ్డే తదితరులు మాట్లాడుతూ ఈ ప్రోగ్రాం ద్వారా విద్యార్ధులు ప్రొఫెషనల్గా మారడంతో పాటు డిగ్రీ సర్టిఫికెట్ ను కూడా పొందొచ్చని పేర్కొన్నారు. స్థానికంగా ఉండే రిటేయిల్, పెద్ద పెద్ద సంస్థల్లో, బహుళ జాతి సంస్థల మాల్స్ లో పనిచేసేందుకు విద్యార్థులకు చదువుతో పాటు ఆర్ధికంగా వనరులను సమకూర్చుకోవడానికి అవకాశం ఉంటుందని వెల్లడించారు. వ్యక్తిగతంగా ప్రతి విద్యార్థికీ ప్రయోజనం కలిగించేందుకు తమ సంస్థ పనిచేస్తుందన్నారు. ఉద్యోగానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్న విద్యార్థులను ఎంపిక చేసి వారికి చదువుకుంటున్నప్పుడే వారికి ఆర్ధికంగా సహాయ పడేలా స్టయిఫండ్ అందించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. కార్యక్రమానికి విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి అధ్యక్షత వహించారు. రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. ఎల్ విజయ కృష్ణా రెడ్డి మాట్లాడారు.
