Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party Hyderabad Central District President Dr. N Gautham Rao said that Kargil Vijay Divas is a testimony to the extraordinary valor of the military forces. He spoke as the chief guest at a rally organized on the occasion of 25 years of Kargil Vijay Divas on Friday under the auspices of the Telangana Citizen Council Charitable Service Organization organized by the students of NSS Unit 2 of Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy Women’s College, Barkatpura.
He said that the people of the country will always be indebted to the martyrs and their families who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the country. Bharatiya Janata Party Secunderabad Parliamentary Constituency Convenor T. Rajasekhar Reddy and Lions Club of Hyderabad Samarpan Director Lion. Prem Chand Munot Jain said that Kargil war was fought in the year 1999 and it has been 25 years since 2024 and today is dedicated to the victory of Indian soldiers.
NSS Program Officer Dr. Romila Sitaram kumar said that the victory of the Kargil war is a symbol of the nation’s honor for the valor of the soldiers. On this occasion, NSS student teachers of RBVRR Women’s College carried out a huge rally holding placards and raising slogans of Johar to Martyrs and hoisting national flags.
