Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy Lauds The Role Of Printers In Nation Building

Hyderabad : N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Irrigation, CAD, Food & Civil Supplies, Government of Telangana, felicitated Shri C. Ravinder Reddy, National President and other newly elected office bearers of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), the apex body representing the printing industry of India, at a function held on October 27, 2025 at the Telangana IAS Officers’ Institute, Begumpet, Hyderabad.

At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Federation held on October 13, 2025, in Lucknow, the Governing Council elected a new team of office bearers for a one-year term. The newly elected team includes:
C. Ravinder Reddy, President (President, Telangana Offset Printers Association, Hyderabad)
Mehul A. Desai, Honorary General Secretary
P. V. Satheesh Kumar, Honorary Joint Secretary
P. Sampath Kumar, Honorary Treasurer
Dr. N. Saratchandra Singh, Vice President (East)
Umesh Nema, Vice President (West)
Mukt Nath Pandey, Vice President (North)
K. A. Mujeeb, Vice President (South)

Addressing the gathering, Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy congratulated the new leadership team and expressed confidence that under the Presidentship of C. Ravinder Reddy, AIFMP would continue to play a pivotal role in advancing the printing industry and supporting printers across India. He emphasized that the printing and packaging sectors remain vital contributors to education, communication and economic development.

Speaking on the occasion, C. Ravinder Reddy reaffirmed the Federation’s commitment to strengthening the printing sector and to bridging the gap between traditional printing practices and emerging digital technologies.

He informed that conversion of power consumption category from commercial to industry was a great achievement and that during his tenure he assured to focus his attention on GST related issues.

Established in 1953, the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) stands as the world’s largest organisation of printers, representing over 2.5 lakh printing establishments across the country through 78 affiliated regional associations. The Federation serves as a unifying platform for printers from every region of India, promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration and industry development.

The felicitation programme was organized by the Telangana Offset Printers Association (TOPA), a state-level association headed by C. Ravinder Reddy, in association with several leading printers and industry representatives.

Among the distinguished guests present at the felicitation function were Mr. Sudhir Reddy President TIF, Mr. P. Narendra, Pragati Art Printers, Mr. Pentyala Basavaiah, President AP Rastra Offset Printer Association, Mr Gopal Rao joint secretary of TIF, Mr. Abhishek Vijayawargiya, President Telangana Paper Merchants Association; Mr. Ashish Jain Bhansali Hon. Secretary, Telangana Papers Merchant Association; Mr. T. Kishan Singh, President Nominee, Federation of Paper Traders Association of India were present on the occasion.

The event concluded with a collective affirmation of AIFMP’s commitment to the continued growth, modernization and ethical advancement of the Indian printing industry.
