- BRS women leaders accompanied KTR in large numbers to the Women’s Commission office.
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KTR expressed that he has immense respect for women. It is known that the Women’s Commission recently issued notices to KTR regarding certain remarks he made during a recent party meeting. KTR personally appeared before the Women’s Commission Chairperson and responded to the notices. He arrived at the Telangana Bhavan at 10 AM, and by 11 AM, accompanied by senior women leaders of the party, he reached the Women’s Commission office. KTR then met with the Chairperson and clarified his comments.
Speaking to the media later, KTR stated that he had already apologized for the offhand remark and reiterated his deep respect for women. He emphasized that he also holds the law and constitutional bodies in high regard, which is why he personally appeared to provide his response. KTR stated that there should be decency in politics and that one should have the humility to apologize if a word slips. However, he criticized Congress leaders for creating a ruckus during his visit to the Women’s Commission office and condemned their attack on BRS women leaders who accompanied him in solidarity. He accused the Congress of attempting to politicize even this incident.
KTR also expressed concern over the increasing atrocities against women during the eight months of Congress rule. He, along with his team, attempted to file a complaint with the Commission regarding these incidents. KTR assured that they would come back to file the complaint as requested. He stated that they are waiting to see how the Commission will respond to the explanation he provided but demanded strict action against the Congress women leaders who attacked BRS women leaders. He also urged the Commission to take action against the ongoing attacks on women.
MLC Satyavathi Rathod, MLAs Sabitha Indra Reddy, Sunitha Laxma Reddy, BRS corporators, and other women leaders addressed the media as well. MLC Satyavathi Rathod mentioned that KTR had apologized for a slip of the tongue, demonstrating his humility. However, she criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for not only insulting women legislators but also for instigating today’s attack on their party leaders. The women leaders, including Sabitha Indra Reddy, reiterated KTR’s respect for women and demanded that CM Revanth Reddy apologize for the incidents involving attacks on women legislators and women journalists.

హైదరాబాద్ : మహిళలంటే తనకు ఎనలేని గౌరవముందని భారత రాష్ట్ర సమితి వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ అన్నారు. ఇటీవల ఓ సమావేశంలో తాను చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలకు మహిళా కమిషన్ నోటీసులు ఇచ్చిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ నోటీసులకు మహిళా కమిషన్ ఛైర్ పర్సన్ ను కలిసి కేటీఆర్ సమాధానం ఇచ్చారు. మహిళ కమిషన్ కార్యాలయానికి చేరుకునేందుకు ఉదయం పది గంటలకే కేటీఆర్ తెలంగాణ భవన్ కు చేరుకున్నారు. అక్కడి నుంచి పార్టీ సీనియర్ మహిళ నేతలతో కలిసి 11 గంటల వరకు మహిళా కమిషన్ కు చేరుకున్నారు. ఆ తర్వాత కేటీఆర్ మహిళా కమిషన్ ఛైర్ పర్సన్ ను కలిసి తన వ్యాఖ్యలపై సమాధానం ఇచ్చారు.
అనంతరం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు. యధాలాపంగా తాను చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలకు ఇది వరకే క్షమాపణలు కోరానని ఆయన అన్నారు. మహిళలపై తనకు అపారమైన గౌరవముందని చెప్పారు. చట్టమన్నా, రాజ్యాంగ బద్ద సంస్థలన్న తనకు గౌరవముందని అందుకే స్వయంగా హాజరై తన సమాధానం ఇచ్చానని చెప్పారు. రాజకీయాల్లో హుందాతనం ఉండాలని…ఒక్కోసారి మాట దొర్లితే క్షమాపణ చెప్పే సంస్కారం ఉండాలన్నారు. ఐతే కేటీఆర్ మహిళా కమిషన్ కార్యాలయానికి వచ్చిన సందర్భంగా కాంగ్రెస్ మహిళా నేతలు హంగామా సృష్టించే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. కేటీఆర్ కు సంఘీభావంగా వచ్చిన బీఆర్ఎస్ మహిళ నాయకులపై దాడికి దిగారు. ఈ సంఘటనపై కూడా కేటీఆర్ స్పందించారు. ఇలాంటి ఘటనలను కూడా కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు రాజకీయం చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నారని విమర్శించారు. బీఆర్ఎస్ మహిళ నేతలపై కాంగ్రెస్ మహిళ నేతలు చేసిన దాడిని ఖండించారు.
అదే విధంగా కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన 8 నెలల కాలంలో మహిళలపై ఆకృత్యాలు భారీగా పెరిగిపోయాయని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. గత 8 నెలల్లో జరిగిన సంఘటనల వివరాలతో కమిషన్ కు ఫిర్యాదు చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. అయితే మరోసారి వచ్చి ఫిర్యాదు చేయాలని కమిషన్ కోరటంతో తప్పకుండా మళ్లీ వచ్చి ఫిర్యాదు చేస్తామని అన్నారు. తాను ఇచ్చిన సమాధానంపై కమిషన్ ఎలా స్పందిస్తుందో వేచి చూడాలని చెప్పారు. ఐతే కచ్చితంగా తమ పార్టీ నాయకులపై కాంగ్రెస్ మహిళా నేతలు చేసిన దాడి పై చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. మహిళల పై జరుగుతున్న దాడులపై కూడా కమిషన్ చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని కోరారు.
కేటీఆర్ తో పాటు ఎమ్మెల్సీ సత్యవతి రాథోడ్, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు సబితా ఇంద్రారెడ్డి, సునీతా లక్ష్మారెడ్డి, బీఆర్ఎస్ కార్పొరేటర్లు, మహిళ నేతలు కూడా మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు. ఒక్క మాట దొర్లినందుకే కేటీఆర్ గారు క్షమాపణ చెప్పి తన హుందాతనాన్ని చాటుకున్నారని ఎమ్మెల్సీ సత్యవతి రాథోడ్ అన్నారు. కానీ సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాత్రం మహిళా శాసనసభ్యులను అవమానించటంతో పాటు ఇవ్వాళ తమ పార్టీ నేతలపై దాడి చేయించారని విమర్శించారు. మహిళలపై కేటీఆర్ కు ఎంతో గౌరవముందని సబితా ఇంద్రారెడ్డి సహా మహిళ నేతలు చెప్పారు. మహిళ శాసనసభ్యులు, మహిళ జర్నలిస్ట్ లపై దాడుల సంఘటనపై సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి క్షమాపణలు చెప్పాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
