तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद: अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शांति दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में शांति रैली और वैश्विक शांति पुरस्कार प्रदान

हैदराबाद: शनिवार को तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद राज्य विभाग और शारदा जूनियर, डिग्री व पीजी कॉलेज के संयुक्त रूप से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शांति दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में शांति रैली का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में तेलंगाना विधान परिषद के उपाध्यक्ष और एमएलसी पूर्व राज्यसभा सदस्य डॉ. बंडा प्रकाश ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में भाग लिया।

इस अवसर पर डॉ बंडा प्रकाश ने कहा कि पुराना शहर हैदराबाद शांति और धार्मिक सद्भाव का प्रतीक है और हम सभी के लिए आदर्श है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि शांति विषय पर छात्रों के बीच निबंध प्रतियोगिता आयोजित करने से वे शांति के मार्ग पर चलेंगे। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि हिंसा से जीवन में कुछ भी हासिल नहीं किया जा सकता है। इस बात को ध्यान में रखते हुए सभी को जाति और धर्म से ऊपर उठकर शांतिपूर्ण जीवन जीने और राज्य के विकास में सहभागी होने का आह्वान किया।

अमेरिका से आये अमीर पीस फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष फारूक अली खान ने कहा कि उन्होंने अपने पिता के नाम पर शांति संगठनों की स्थापना की और शांति के लिए किये जा रहे कार्यक्रमों के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। कार्यक्रम के अध्यक्ष तेलंगाना सिटीजन काउंसिल राज्य शाखा के अध्यक्ष डॉ राजनारायण मुदिराज ने बताया कि हम पिछले 40 वर्षों से धार्मिक सद्भावना, शांति, पर्यावरण और अन्य मुद्दों पर रैलियों और सेमिनारों के माध्यम से लोगों में जागरूक कार्यक्रम करते आ रहे हैं।

इस अवसर पर वरिष्ठ पत्रकार पिल्ली रामचंदर, विंजामुरी वेंकटचारी और भारतीय रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी की संयोजक श्रीमती गोगुला मंडा प्रोफेसर स्वरूपा रानी, उस्मानिया विश्वविद्यालय के पर्यावरण विभाग के सहायक प्रोफेसर इस क्षेत्र में बहुत काम कर रहे हैं। पुरानी बस्ती में पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र में पिछले कई वर्षों से पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र से जुड़े अधिकारी और युवा मौजूद रहे डॉ बंडा प्रकाश ने अजीमुन्निसलक को ग्लोबल पीस अवार्ड 2024 शॉल, माला और स्मृति चिन्ह से सम्मानित किया।

इससे पहले, शारदा जूनियर, डिग्री और पीजी कॉलेज की छात्राओं ने हाथों में तख्तियां लेकर और शांति के नारे लगाते हुए बेला सुधाकर से वाया लाल दरवाजा कॉलेज तक शांति रैली निकाली। शारदा विद्यालय डिग्री पीजी प्रिंसिपल श्रीमती सांबा ललिता, जूनियर कॉलेज प्रिंसिपल श्रीमती पी पद्मावती, श्रीमती सीमा, वेणु, उदय, पुरानी बस्ती टीसीसी अध्यक्ष एस रामकृष्ण शास्त्री, कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता कसामुनी श्याम राव मुदीराज, मुत्यम यादव, असम शंकरा चारी भाग लिया और संबोधित किया।

The International Day of Peace with massive rally on peace and the Global Peace Awards held

Hyderabad: Telangana Legislative Council Deputy Chairman and MLC, former Rajya Sabha member Dr. Banda Prakash said that old city Hyderabad is a symbol of peace and religious harmony and an ideal for all of us. On Saturday, Telangana Citizens Council and Sharada Vidyalaya Junior, Degree, PG College jointly organized a program to celebrate the International Day of Peace and spoke as the chief guest. He said that by organizing essay competitions among students on the topic of peace, they will be on the path of peace from the student stage itself. He said that nothing can be achieved in life through violence and called upon all the people irrespective of caste and religion to live a peaceful life and participate in the development of the state. 

Farooq Ali Khan, President and Founder of Amir Peace Foundation, who came from America as special guest on this occasion said that he established peace organization in the name of his father and explained the activities being done for peace. He explained how important the education of girl students important in the nizams era. He also stated that his father Subedar Amir Ali Khan established Rehmathiya girls school for the education of down trodden and poor people. He adviced all students to work for the peace in this world. He also hoped that Indian American Kamala Harris may win the upcoming US elections as president. He also explained about Mahatma Gandhi and Ambedkar who worked for peace.

Telangana Citizen Council state branch president Dr. Raj Narayana Mudiraj presided over and explained that for the past 40 years, people have been sensitized on the issues of religious harmony, peace, environment etc. through rallies and seminars.
