కాంట్రాక్టు అధ్యాపకుల సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించాలి
హైదరాబాద్ : యూనివర్సిటీల్లో పనిచేస్తున్న కాంట్రాక్టు అధ్యాపకుల న్యాయమైన డిమాండ్లను ప్రభుత్వం పరిష్కరించాలని డా బి ఆర్ అంబెడ్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఫాకల్టీ టీచింగ్ అసోసియేషన్ ప్రతినిధులు కోరారు. యూనివర్సిటీల్లోని కాంట్రాక్టు అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్లను క్రమబద్ధీకరించాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ రాష్ట్ర జాయింట్ యాక్షన్ కమిటీ ఇచ్చిన పిలుపు మేరకు అంబెడ్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీలో కాంట్రాక్టు అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్లు చేపట్టిన నిరవధిక సమ్మె శనివారం ఆరో రోజు కొనసాగింది.
యూనివర్సిటీ ప్రాంగణంలోని అంబెడ్కర్ విగ్రహం వద్ద నిరసన తెలిపారు. అంబెడ్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఫాకల్టీ టీచింగ్ అసోసియేషన్ ప్రతినిధులు ప్రో. పీ. వెంకట రమణ, ప్రో. బి. శ్రీనివాస్, ప్రో. జి దయాకర్, ప్రో. రవీంద్రనాథ్ సోలొమన్, ప్రో. చంద్రకళ, ప్రో. కిశోర్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి మద్దతు పలికి మాట్లాడుతూ కాంట్రాక్టు అధ్యాపకుల న్యాయమైన డిమాండ్లను ప్రభుత్వం పరిష్కరించాలని కోరారు.

Hyderabad: Representatives of the Dr B R Ambedkar Open University Faculty Teaching Association have urged the government to address the just demands of contract teachers working in universities. The indefinite strike launched by contract assistant professors at Ambedkar Open University, as per the call given by the State Joint Action Committee demanding regularization of contract assistant professors in universities, continued for the sixth day on Saturday.
They protested at the Dr B R Ambedkar Ambedkar statue on the university premises. Representatives of the Dr B R Ambedkar Open University Faculty Teaching Association are Prof. P. Venkata Ramana, Prof. B. Srinivas, Prof. G Dayakar, Prof. Ravindranath Solomon, Prof. Chandrakala, Prof. Kishore Kumar Reddy, speaking in support, urged the government to address the just demands of the contract teachers.
