Hyderabad: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University today Launched Web Radio and Mobile App to extend the services to the learners. These two launched by Sri Navin Mittal, IAS, Principal Secretary to Govt and Chief Commissioner of land administartion at Braou Campus on Monday.
He has mentioned that Web Radio and Mobile App will improve the services and quick response and it will reflect on transparency of the services which was provided by the University to the students.
The event was presided over by the University Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. Seetharama Rao, he explained that there is a need to do more for the students to provide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in digital era, also he mentioned that this is the need of the hour. Web Radio and Mobile App, through this services students can get the information easily time to time from the University.
They can listen the recorded lessons whenever they are free, which were readily available in the web. Through mobile app students can access all the notifications, dates of admissions, examinations and results too. హైదరాబాద్: విద్యార్ధులకు మరిన్ని సేవలు అందుబాటులోకి తేవాలనే లక్ష్యంతో డాక్టర్ బి.ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ వెబ్ రేడియో, మొబైల్ యాప్‌లను ప్రారంభించింది. సోమవారం విశ్వవిద్యాలయ క్యాంపస్‌లో ప్రభుత్వ ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రటరీ మరియు భూ పరిపాలనా విభాగ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ నవీన్ మిట్టల్, IAS వెబ్ రేడియో, మొబైల్ యాప్‌లను ప్రారంభించారు.
అనంతరం ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం అందించే సేవలను త్వరితగతిన పొందడానికి అవకాశం ఏర్పడుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. పాలనలో పారదర్శకత మెరుగు పడుతుందని, విద్యార్థులకు సమయం వృధా కాకుండా సేవలను అందించోచ్చని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ ప్రొ.కె.సీతా రామరావు అధ్యక్షత వహించారు. ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ డిజిటల్ యుగంలో ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్ అండ్ కమ్యూనికేషన్ టెక్నాలజీ (ఐసిటి)ని విరివిగా అందించేందుకు విశ్వవిద్యాలయం కృషి చేస్తోందని వివరించారు. వెబ్ రేడియో మరియు మొబైల్ యాప్, సేవల ద్వారా విద్యార్థులు విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నుండి ఎప్పటికప్పుడు సమాచారాన్ని సులభంగా పొందోచ్చన్నారు. ఖాళీ సమయం దొరికినప్పుడల్లా విద్యార్ధులు లెసన్స్ వినే సౌలభ్యం అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చిందన్నారు. రికార్డు చేసిన లెసన్స్ వెబ్‌లో సులభంగా అందుబాటులో ఉంటాయన్నారు.
మొబైల్ యాప్ ద్వారా విద్యార్థులు అన్ని నోటిఫికేషన్ల వివరాలు, అడ్మిషన్ల తేదీలు, పరీక్షల తేదీలు. ఫలితాలను కూడా యాక్సెస్ చేసుకోవచ్చన్నారు. ఈ.ఎం.ఆర్.&ఆర్.సి. రూపొందించిన వెబ్ రేడియోను యాక్సెస్ చేయడానికి యూనివర్సిటీ వెబ్‌సైట్‌ : www.braou.ac.in కి లాగిన్ అవ్వాలని, కంప్యూటర్ సెంటర్ వాళ్ళు అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చిన మొబైల్ యాప్ ను గూగుల్ ప్లే స్టోర్ నుండి డౌన్‌లోడ్ చేసుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
