Hyderabad: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University employees celebrated Christmas celebrations at its campus on Monday. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU; Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy, Registrar and Prof. I. Anand Pawar In-Charge Director Academic inaugurated the event and extended Christmas greetings to the employees with cutting the celebrations cake.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University said that one should respect the opinions of others regardless of their religious beliefs. All religions say that it is important to respect people as human beings, and he wished all Christian employees well, suggesting that everyone should act accordingly.
The program was attended Dr. Rabindranath solomon, Prof. G. Mary Sunanda, Incharge (WDEC); Dr. Udhyani, Diwakar, Dharma Kalyan all the Directors, Dean, heads of the branches, teaching and non-teaching staff, union leaders and others participated in the program.

హైదరాబాద్: డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయలో క్రిస్మస్ సంభరాలు ఘనంగా జరిగాయి. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి; రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. ఎల్వీకే రెడ్డి, ఇంచార్జ్ అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. ఐ. ఆనంద్ పవర్ ప్రత్యేకంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన క్రిస్మస్ వేడుకల్లో పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి మాట్లాడుతూ మతాలపైన విశ్వాసం ఉన్నా లేకున్నా ఇతరుల అభిప్రాయాలను తప్పకుండా గౌరవించాలని పేర్కొన్నారు. మనుషులను మనుషులుగా గౌరవించడం ముఖ్యమని అన్ని మతాలు చెప్పుతాయని ఆ విధంగా ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ మసులుకోవాలని సూచిస్తూ క్రిస్టియన్ ఉద్యోగులందరికే శుభాకాంక్షాలు చెప్పారు.
