Hyderabad: 28th July at 10 am Dharna in front of Rail Nilayam by Rly Contract Workers. Demanding min wages of Rs.19,136 and wages payment by 7th of every month.
DEMANDS :
- Scrap the outcome based tender system which focuses on reduction of workers.
- Pay wages by 7th of every month as per rules and provide payslips.
- Unskilled workers should be paid Rs.19,136 as per law.
- Provide leave benefits of 12 Leaves, 18 CLs and 12 Festival holidays as perrules.
- Stop deducting 2 days wages for one day absence.
- Implement properly ESI , PF benefits as per law.
- Provide job security and stop harassments.
- Pay 8.33% Bonus every year.
- Stop the system of holding Bank Passbooks and ATM cards by Contractors and take criminal action against such persons and those Rly Officers cooperating with them.
