విశ్వవిద్యాలయ పరిశోధక విద్యార్ధుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిరసన
హైదరాబాద్ : డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయ పది ఎకరాల స్థలాన్ని జవహర్ లాల్ నెహ్రు అర్కిటెక్చర్ అండ్ ఫైన్ ఆర్ట్స్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయానికి (JNFAU) కేటాయించడాన్ని నిరసిస్తూ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఐక్య కార్యాచరణ సమితి సభ్యలు రిజిస్ట్రార్ కు సమ్మె నోటీసు అందించారు. తమ సమ్మెలో భాగంగా నిర్వహించనున్న కార్యక్రమాల వివరాలను సమ్మె నోటీసులో ప్రస్తావించారు.
అందులో భాగంగా శనివారం మధ్యాహ్నం భోజన విరామ సమయంలో విశ్వవిద్యాలయ పరిపాలన భవనం, అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహం దగ్గర నిరసన తెలిపారు. ప్రభుత్వ నిర్ణయానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా నినాదాలు చేశారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా పలువురు మంత్రులు, అధికారులను కలిసి సమస్యను వివరించామని జేఎసే ఛైర్పర్సన్ ప్రొ. పల్లవీ కాబ్డే, సెక్రటరీ జనరల్ మహేష్ గౌడ్ ఉద్యోగులకు వివరించారు.
భూ కేటాయింపు ఆలోచనను వెంటనే ఉప సంహరించుకోవాలంటూ ప్రభుత్వానికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేసినప్పటికీ ప్రభుత్వంలో ఎలాంటి చలనం లేదని తెలిపారు. విశ్వవిధ్యాలయ విస్తరణకు, మౌళిక వసతుల కల్పనకు ఎక్కువ మొత్తంలో భూమి అవసరం ఉందని ఇలాంటి క్రమంలో అందుబాటులో ఉన్న కొద్దిపాటి భూమిలో 10 ఎకరాల భూమి వేరే యూనివర్సిటీకి కేటాయింపు నిర్ణయాన్ని వెంటనే ఉపసంహారించుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. రానున్న రోజుల్లో ఈ ఆందోళనను విస్తరించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

అంబేద్కర్ యూనివర్సిటీ భూమిని వేరే వాళ్లకు కేటాయించడం అంటే ఉన్నత విద్యా వ్యాప్తిని, దూర విద్య విస్తరణను అడ్డుకోవడమేనని విశ్వవిద్యాలయ పరిశోధక విద్యార్ధుల సమాఖ్య ఆరోపించింది. భోజన విరామ సమయంలో పెద్ద ఎత్తున నిరసన కార్యక్రమానికి దిగారు. ఇందులో పరిశోధక విద్యార్ధులు జయ ప్రకాష్, వెంకటేష్ గౌడ్, విజయ్ కుమార్, ప్రకాష్, కృష్ణయ్య తదితరులు మాట్లాడతూ ఉన్నత విద్య వ్యాప్తికి, భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు విద్యను దూరం చేసేలా ప్రభుత్వం కుట్ర పూరిత నిర్ణయం తీసుకుందని వివిరించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో విశ్వవిద్యాలయ పరిశోధక విద్యార్ధులు, పూర్వ విద్యార్ధులు ఎక్కువ సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొని ప్రభుత్వ నిర్ణయాన్ని వెంటనే ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని హెచ్చరించారు, లేని పక్షంలో రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని విద్యార్థి సంఘాలను కలుపుకొని పెద్ద ఎత్తున ఉద్యమం చేస్తామని వాళ్ళు హెచ్చరించారు. ఈ నిరసనలో పూర్వ విద్యార్ధుల సమాఖ్య అధ్యక్షులు సాక వెంకటేశ్వర్లు, ఎక్కువ సంఖ్యలో పూర్వ విద్యార్ధులు, ఉద్యోగులు తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Hyderabad.Sub: Protest against Letter No: 1043/TE/A2/2024- Dated: 19-09-24 allocation Dr.BRAOU 10 acres of land to the JNFAU– Reg.
In response to the Letter No: 1043/TE/A2/2024- Higher Education Dept- Dt: 19-09-24 for allocation of 10 acres land to the JNFAU, a Joint Action Committee of office bearers of all service Associations of the University was formed to protect the Land of the University. Despite several representations to the Government officials for withdrawal of the letter, the results seems to be glim and hence the Joint Action Committee has decided to protest against the unfair attitude of the government. In this context, the Joint Action Committee has decided to draw an action plan to protest and fight for the genuine cause.
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) consisting of all the office bearers of various associations i.e., Faculty Teachers’ Association, BRAOU Teachers Association, Administrative Officers Association, Non-Teaching Employees Association, Technical Officers and Staff Association, SC/ST Employees’ Welfare Association, BC Employees’ Welfare Association, Telangana All Universities Contract Teachers Association, Time Scale Employees union, Assistant Professors (Part Time) Association, Retired Teachers Association, Retired Non-Teaching Employees Association, Alumni Association of Dr. BRAOU, met on 10-10-2024 and unanimously decided to participate in the proposed plan of action given by the Joint Action Committee from 18-10-2024 onwards.
