Request : Do not introduce adulterated liquor in Telangana State
Dear Chief Minister,
On May 21, 2024, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao stated that no proposals had been made to allow new liquor companies to operate in Telangana State. He warned that if anyone reported such news, a defamation suit of 100 crores would be filed against them. However, on May 27, 2024, the BRS party exposed Minister Jupally Krishna Rao’s falsehood, revealing that the government had indeed granted permissions to a company named Som Distilleries. Following a media briefing, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao admitted the truth, acknowledging the permissions but irresponsibly claimed it was solely the decision of the Beverages Corporation and that he had no knowledge of it.
Som Distilleries is notorious for its involvement in producing adulterated liquor, defaulting on loans taken from government institutions, and causing significant losses to the state treasury. In this open letter, we have attached images of other state governments destroying counterfeit beer produced by this company. During KCR’s administration, public health was protected by ensuring no adulterated liquor was available. We, the BRS party, earnestly request that the Congress government refrain from granting permissions to companies that manufacture fake beer for commissions, thus endangering public health by introducing harmful adulterated liquor into the state.

21 మే 2024 మంత్రి జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు గారు ఎలాంటి మద్యం కంపెనీలు తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో కొత్తగా వ్యాపారం చేయడానికి ప్రతిపాదనలు పెట్టలేదని చెప్పి ఎవరన్నా అలాంటి వార్తలు రాస్తే 100 కోట్ల రూపాయల పరువు నష్టం దావా వేస్తారని హెచ్చరించారు . బీఆర్ఎస్ 27 మే 2024న మంత్రి జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు గారి అబద్ధాన్ని బహిర్గతం చేస్తూ సోం డిస్తలరీస్ అనే సంస్థకు ప్రభుత్వం అనుమతులు ఇవ్వడంపై మీడియా సమావేశం పెట్టిన అనంతరం జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు గారు నిజాన్ని ఒప్పుకొని Som Distilleries కు అనుమతులు ఇవ్వడం వాస్తవమే, కానీ దానిపై మంత్రికి ఎలాంటి సమాచారం లేదు అది బేవరేజెస్ కార్పొరేషన్ యొక్క సొంత నిర్ణయం అని బాధ్యత రహితంగా పత్రికా ప్రకటన ద్వారా ప్రకటించారు.
Som Distilleries సంస్థ రాష్ట్ర ఖజానా కు గండికొడుతూ , ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థల వద్ద రుణాలను తీసుకొని ఎగ్గొడుతూ , కల్తీ మద్యం వ్యాపారం చేయడంలో ప్రఖ్యాతిగాంచింది . మీకు ఈ బహిరంగ లేఖలో కొన్ని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు వారి కల్తీ బీరును ధ్వంసం చేసే చిత్రాన్ని కూడా జతపరిచినాము. కెసిఆర్ గారి ప్రభుత్వం ఉన్నప్పుడు ఎలాంటి కల్తీ మద్యం లేకుండా ప్రజల ఆరోగ్యాన్ని కాపాడారు.దయచేసి కమిషన్ కోసం కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం నకిలీ బీరును తయారు చేసే కంపెనీలకు అనుమతులు ఇచ్చి ఆరోగ్యానికి హానికరమైన కల్తీ మద్యాన్ని రాష్ట్రంలో అందుబాటు లోకి తేవ వద్దని బీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ యొక్క మనవి. మా విజ్ఞప్తిని స్వీకరించి సోం డిస్తులరీస్ కు ఇచ్చిన అనుమతులను తక్షణమే రద్దు చేస్తూ వినియొగదారుల ఆరోగ్యాన్ని కాపాడుతారని భావిస్తున్నాం.
