हैदराबाद : तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद और विकास भारती चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट ने संयुक्त तत्वावधान में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वन दिवस पर जागरूकता रैली एवं शिविर का भव्य आयोजन इंदिरा प्रियदर्शिनी सरकारी महिला डिग्री कॉलेज नामपल्ली द्वारा किया गया। इस सम्मेलन में प्रमुख राष्ट्रीय पर्यावरणविद् प्रोफेसर के पुरुषोत्तम रेड्डी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में भाग लिया और वन संरक्षण के बारे में संबोधित किया।
पुरुषोत्तम रेड्डी ने कहा, “हमारे भविष्य के लिए वनों को बचाना अनिवार्य है। वनों के बिना हमारा जीवन और जीने का तरीका खतरे में पड़ जाएगा। इसलिए सभी को वन संरक्षण की जिम्मेदारी लेनी चाहिए।” उन्होंने चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि जीवाश्म ईंधन के उपयोग से जलवायु प्रदूषण के कारण ग्लोबल वार्मिंग बढ़ रही है। दूसरी ओर वनों की कटाई बढ़ रही है और मिट्टी की उर्वरता कम हो रही है और स्थिति की गंभीरता बढ़ रही है। मुख्य अतिथि ने समझाया कि वनों से स्वच्छ हवा, पानी, दवाइयाँ, लकड़ी के उत्पाद मिलते हैं और फसलों को उगाने के लिए वन आवश्यक हैं।
इसी क्रम में राष्ट्रीय पर्यावरण संरक्षण विकास परिषद के सलाहकार लायन डॉ. कोमाटिरेड्डी गोपाल रेड्डी ने कहा कि हमें वन के जरिए फल, मेवे, बीज और वन पशुओं सहित खाद्य सुरक्षा प्रदान करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद के अध्यक्ष डॉ. राज नारायण मुदिराज ने उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि वनों की कटाई के कारण हम हर साल 10 मिलियन हेक्टेयर खो रहे हैं और लगभग 70 मिलियन हेक्टेयर आग से प्रभावित हो रही हैं। कॉलेज के प्राचार्य प्रोफेसर चंद्र मुखर्जी ने कहा कि युवाओं और छात्रों को वनों की रक्षा के लिए महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभानी है। क्योंकि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक अच्छा पर्यावरण प्रदान करना हम सभी की जिम्मेदारी है।

इस अवसर पर तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद की राज्य सचिव श्रीमती एटा उदयश्री और कॉलेज के एनएसएस अधिकारी बड़ी संख्या में एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों ने इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों ने संरक्षण के नारे लगाए और वनों के महत्व को समझाया। साथ ही कॉलेज के यूनिट वन टू थ्री फोर के एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों ने तख्तियों के साथ एक विशाल रैली निकाली। जिसमें सभी को ग्रीन इंडिया के लिए काम करने का संकल्प लिया और कहा कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए हरियाली को बढ़ावा देते हैं और प्रकृति की रक्षा करते हैं।
Awareness Rally and Camp on the occasion of International day of Forests
Hyderabad: Prominent national environmentalist Professor K. Purushottam Reddy came as the Chief Guest and gave a speech to create awareness among the people about forest conservation. He said, “It is imperative to save forests for our future. Without forests, our way of life will be in danger. Therefore, everyone should take responsibility for forest conservation.” Telangana Citizens Council and Vikas Bharthi Charitable Trust jointly organized a conference organized by Indira Priyadarshini Government Degree College for Women, Nampally he came as the Chief Guest to address the International Forest Day.
He expressed concern that the use of fossil fuels is increasing global warming due to climate pollution, on the other hand deforestation is increasing and reducing soil fertility and increasing the severity of the situation. He explained that clean air, water, medicines, wood products are available from forests, and forests are necessary for crops to be grown. National Environment Conservation Development Council Adviser Lion Dr Komatireddy Gopal Reddy said that forests play a vital role in providing food security including fruits, nuts, seeds and forest animals.
Telangana Citizen Council President Dr. Raj Narayan Mudiraj said with examples that we are losing 10 million hectares every year due to deforestation and around 70 million hectares are affected by fires. Principal of the college Professor Chandra Mukherji said that the youth and students play a vital role in protecting the forests and it is the responsibility of all of us to provide a good environment for future generations. On this occasion Shri K Ram Gopal Reddy, Managing Trust of Vikas Bharti Charitable Trust, chaired it and suggested that everyone should join hands for the protection of forests and play a leading role in establishing a pollution free society.
On this occasion, the famous medical expert of the city, Dr. O Mulpuru, said that how forests are useful because of forests, we are taking advantage of the good climate for fruits and nuts to be healthy and said that it is the responsibility of all of us to protect them. On this occasion, Mrs. Etta Udayashri, State Secretary of Telangana Citizens Council and NSS Program Officers of the college participated in large number of NSS volunteers.
On this occasion, NSS volunteers raised slogans for conservation and organized a huge rally explaining the importance of forests. On this occasion, NSS volunteers of the college, Unit One Two Three Four, organized a huge rally with placards, pledging that everyone should work for Green India, saying let’s promote greenery for our future generations and protect nature.
