Hyderabad: In an attempt to make students of journalism and business administration industry-ready with impactful communication, the Public Relations Society of India’s Hyderabad Chapter signed a MoU with two reputed educational institutions in Hyderabad on Saturday.
A delegation led by Mr Krishna Baji, head, the Membership & Programmes Advisory Committee, first visited Dr BR Ambedkar Educational Institutions and signed an MoU to create PRSI-DrBRAC Student Forum. The Institute’s Director Dr Rishikanth and the PRSI Hyderabad secretary Mr K Yadagiri signed and changed the MoU Mr G Krishna Kumar, Faculty (Journalism) was also present.

The PRSI team later signed an MoU with Raja Bahadur Venkatarama Reddy Educational Trust to create the PRSI-RBVRCW Student Forum. Dr J Achyutha Devi, Principal and Ms K Pavani,Faculty (Journalism) took part. “Our endeavour is to extend academic and professional support to the institutes willing to introduce certificate courses on PR. As a professional body we wish to bridge the gap between academia and industry,” Mr Krishna Baji said in a press release.
The PRSI’s national legal advisor and former Secretary General Mr Y Babji and Hyderabad chapter advisor Rajeswari Iyer were also present. They thanked the national president Dr Ajit Pathak and the Hyderabad Chapter Chairman Dr S Ramu for showing keen interest in grooming PR professionals at the college level.
