International Conference on “75 Years of Public Administration Discipline In India : Trajectories and Contemporary Status” concluded
Hyderabad : Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Public Administration in collaboration with Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) concluded two days International Conference on “75 Years of Public Administration Discipline In India: Trajectories and Contemporary Status” at the University Campus.
Prof K. Seetharama Rao, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU, Hyderabad was the chief guest for the valedictory of International Conference. Prof. Rao said that the researchers should continuously study the problems of the people, the decisions of the political leaders, develop the contemporary issues, study the living conditions of the people, the way the central and state governments are implementing the welfare schemes, and to what extent they are useful to the people, and these things should be presented to the rulers and the government, this is useful for the people. It is suggested that it will stand. He suggested that both people and students will be attracted towards this department. It has been revealed that the necessary training for the rulers and officers to provide good governance in the country will also be done under the supervision of senior professors in the public administration department.
Prof. Dipankar Sinha, Professor of Political Science and Director, Centre for Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Calcutta was the keynote addressee of the Valedictory. He addressed the topic “Towards Public Administration 2.0: Negotiating the Digital Future”. He explained about the steps to be taken to make public administration department more popular in the country.

Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik, Vice-Chancellor, Chaudhari Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana presided over the program. Professor Malik said the public administration department has not received enough recognition despite its long history in this country. Due to this, the number of students joining in that department is also low. In order to get out of these problems, it is suggested that the teachers should focus on this issue.
Prof. A.V.R.N. Reddy, Registrar attended as guests of honour for the program and introduced about the guest to the program. Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director (Academic); Prof. Vaddanam Srinivas, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences also spoke on the occasion.
Prof. Pallavi Kabde, Conference Director present a detail reports of international conference, she explain two plenary sessions and ten technical sessions were organized as part of this, in which 118 teachers and researchers presented their research papers. Prof. C. Venkataiah, Conference Co-Director; Prof. Vayunandan, Former Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra Open University; Prof. Parthasaradhi, former senior professor of Osmania University and others participated and gave a speech. Awards were presented to the presenters of the best research papers among the research papers presented in the conference. Faculty members, research students, heads of various departments, faculty members of government degree colleges in two Telugu states and deans of the respective departments participated in the program.
In the second Plenary session on “Interdisciplinary Nature of Public Administration”. Prof G.Hargopal, Distinguished Political Scientist, University of Hyderabad was the chairman of the panel. Prof. C. Venkataiah, Dept. of Public Admin, Dr. BRAOU Co-Chairman and Mr. Prudhvikrishna, JRF Scholar, Dr.BRAOU was Rapporteur for the session. Prof. Sreenivas Reddy, Dept of Public Administration, Kakatiya University,Warangal; Prof. Kedibone Phago, Director, School of Government studies, North-West University, South Africa; Prof. Sunil Dutt, Executive Editor, Haryana Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi; Prof. E. Venkatesu, Dept of Political Science, Central University of Hyderabad, Telangana; Prof. Baljit Singh Mann, Professor and Head, Department of Political Science, University of Jammu, Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir were the panel speakers.
పరిశోధకులు నిరంతరం అధ్యయనం చేయాలి : వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ ప్రొ. సీతారామారావు
డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో ముగిసిన రెండు రోజుల అంతర్జాతీయ సదస్సు
హైదరాబాద్ : డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం, సామాజిక శాస్త్ర విభాగం మరియు తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఉన్నత విద్యా మండలి ఆధ్వర్యంలో “భారతదేశంలో 75 సంవత్సరాల పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ : సమకాలీన స్థితిగతులు” అనే అంశంపై నిర్వహించిన రెండు రోజుల అంతర్జాతీయ సదస్సు ముగిసింది.
ఈ ముగింపు కార్యక్రమానికి అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య కె.సీతారామరావు ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరై ప్రసంగించారు. అయన మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రజల సమస్యలు, రాజకీయ నేతల నిర్ణయాలను, సమకాలీన అంశాలను విపులీకరించడం, ప్రజల జీవన స్థితిగతులు అధ్యయనం చేయడం, కేంద్ర రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు అందిస్తున్న సంక్షేమ పథకాలను అమలు చేస్తున్న విధానం, ప్రజలకు ఏ మేరకు ఉపయోగకారిగా నిలుస్తున్నాయి వంటి వాటిపై పరిశోధకులు నిరంతరం అధ్యయనం చేయాలని, ఈ అంశాలను పాలకులకు, ప్రభుత్వానికి అందించాలని ఇది ప్రజలకు ఉపయోగకారిగా నిలుస్తుందని సూచించారు. తద్వారా అటు ప్రజలు ఇటు విద్యార్ధులు ఈ విభాగం వైపు ఆకర్షితులు అవుతారని ఆయన సూచించారు. దేశంలో సుపరిపాలన అందించడానికి పాలకులకు, అధికారులకు అవసరమైన శిక్షణను కూడా పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ విభాగం లోని సీనియర్ ప్రొఫెసర్ల ఆధ్వర్యంలోనే జరుగుతాయని వెల్లడించారు.
కలకత్తా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ, సామాజిక శాస్త్రాలు మరియు మానవీయ శాస్త్రాల డైరెక్టర్, పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ ఆచార్యులు దీపాంకర్ సిన్హా ముగింపు సమావేశానికి హాజరై కీలకోపన్యాసం చేశారు. ఆయన “టువర్డ్స్ పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ 2.0 : నెగోషిఎటింగ్ ది డిజిటల్ ఫ్యూచర్” అనే అంశంపై ప్రసంగించారు. దేశంలో పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ విభాగం మరింత ప్రాచుర్యం పొందడానికి తీసుకోవాల్సిన చర్యల గురించి ఆయన వివరించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి చౌదరి దేవి లాల్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ (హర్యాణా) ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య అజ్మీర్ సింగ్ మాలిక్ అధ్యక్షత వహించారు. ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ… పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ విభాగానికి ఈ దేశంలో సుదీర్ఘ చరిత్ర ఉన్నప్పటికీ రావల్సినంత గుర్తింపు రాలేదని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. దీంతో ఆ విభాగంలో విద్యార్ధులు కూడా తక్కువ సంఖ్యలో చేరుతున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ సమస్యల నుంచి బయట పడాలి అంటే అధ్యాపకులే ఈ అంశంపై దృష్టి సారించాలని సూచించారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో గౌరవ అతిథులుగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ రిజిస్ట్రార్, పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ విభాగ అధ్యాపకులు ప్రొ.ఎ.వి.ఆర్.ఎన్.రెడ్డి; అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ.జి. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి; సామాజిక శాస్త్రాల విభాగ డీన్ ప్రొ.వడ్డాణం శ్రీనివాస్ పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు.
సదస్సు డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ.పల్లవి కాబ్డే ఈ రెండు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించిన అంతర్జాతీయ సదస్సు వివరాలను వెల్లడించారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా రెండు ప్లీనరీ సెషన్స్, పది టెక్నికల్ సెషన్స్ నిర్వహించామని ఇందులో 118 మంది అధ్యాపకులు, పరిశోధకులు తమ తమ పరిశోధనా పత్రాలను సమర్పించారని ఆమె వివరించారు. సదస్సు కో-డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. సి. వెంకటయ్య, మహారాష్ట్ర ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ మాజీ వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ ప్రొ. వాయునందన్, ఉస్మానియా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ మాజీ సీనియర్ ప్రొఫెసర్ ప్రొ. పార్ధసారధి తదితరులు పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు. ఈ సదస్సులో సమర్పించిన పరిశోధనా పత్రాల్లో ఉత్తమ పరిశోధనా పత్రాల సమర్పకులకు అవార్డులను అందించారు. దేశంలోని పలు విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల అధ్యాపకులు, పరిశోధక విద్యార్ధులు, పలు విభాగాల అధిపతులు, రెండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలలోని ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కళాశాలల అధ్యాపకులు, ఆయా విభాగాల డీన్లు పాల్గొన్నారు.
అంతముందు నిర్వహించిన రెండో ప్లీనరీ సెషన్లో “పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ యొక్క ఇంటర్ డిసిప్లినరీ నేచర్” అనే అంశంపై సెషన్లో హైదరాబాద్ కేంద్రీయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ, విశిష్ట రాజకీయ శాస్త్రవేత్త ప్రొ.జి.హరగోపాల్ ప్యానెల్‌కు చైర్మన్‌గా వ్యవహరించారు. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయ పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ విభాగం మాజీ ఆచార్యులు ప్రొ. సి. వెంకటయ్య, కో-ఛైర్మన్ గా ఉన్నారు. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయ పరిశోధక విద్యార్థి పృధ్వీకృష్ణ పాల్గొన్నారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా కాకతీయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం (వరంగల్) పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ విభాగ ప్రొఫెసర్ శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి; ఉత్తర-పశ్చిమ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ (సౌత్ ఆఫ్రికా) స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ గవర్నమెంట్ స్టడీస్, డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొఫెసర్ కెడిబోన్ ఫాగో; న్యూఢిల్లీలోని హర్యానా ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ పబ్లిక్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్, ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ ఎడిటర్, ప్రొ. సునీల్ దత్; హైదరాబాద్ కేంద్రీయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ రాజనీతి శాస్త్ర విభాగ ప్రొఫెసర్ ఇ. వెంకటేశ్; జమ్మూ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ రాజనీతి శాస్త్ర విభాగం (జమ్మూ & కాశ్మీర్) ప్రొఫెసర్ బల్జీత్ సింగ్ మాన్ తదితరులు వక్తలుగా పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు.
