Hyderabad: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Centre for Internal Quality Assurance (CIQA), organized three days workshop on “Outcome Based Education (OBE)” on January 22-24, 2024 at University Campus, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
Prof K. Seetharama Rao, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU, attended as chief guest for the valedictory function program. Prof. Rao said the National New Education Policy- 2020 will change the nature of higher education in the country, and as a part of it, a training program has been organized on how to make comprehensive use of out-com based curriculums with the intention of being more useful to the students.
Prof. V. Venkaiah, Former Vice-Chancellor, Krishna University, Andhra Pradesh and Former Rector, Dr. BRAOU and keynote speaker of the Valedictory program. Prof. Venkaiah said that continuous study and new discoveries coming from all over the world should be observed by researchers and teachers from time to time. The researchers need to have the sincerity to investigate and the curiosity to explore, if there is no desire, it is not possible to invent new things and to invent things that are useful to the society. He suggested that the research students and faculty should work in that direction only when the research papers are published in international journals.
Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Director Academic, BRAOU presided over the program. Prof. Chakrapani said it was revealed that a three-day conference was organized keeping in mind the need for training in the current situation. In the training conference held for three days, it was revealed that the teachers were given a comprehensive understanding on creating out-com based strategies.
Prof. A. V. N. Reddy, Registrar of the university attended as guest of honour and said that according to the changed conditions, the teachers should develop awareness on new topics from time to time. Such conferences are a good opportunity for teachers.
Dr. K. Sridevi, Director I/c, CIQA presented a detailed reported of three day workshop will be useful for research students and teachers. The conference held for three days would be useful for the teachers and she reported the details of the session wise program in the conference. All Directors, Deans, Heads of the Branches, Teaching staff were participated in the program.

ఔట్ కం బేస్డ్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్”పై ముగిసిన మూడు రోజుల సదస్సు
హైదరాబాద్: డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం, సెంటర్ ఫర్ ఇంటర్నల్ క్వాలిటీ అస్యూరెన్స్ (సికా) ఆధ్వర్యంలో “ఔట్ కం బేస్డ్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్” అనే అంశంపై నిర్వహించిన మూడు రోజుల సదస్సు ముగిసింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి కృష్ణా యూనివర్సిటీ మాజీ ఉప కులపతి ప్రొ. వి. వెంకయ్య హాజరై కీలకోపన్యాసం చేశారు. కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ప్రొ. కే. సీతారామ రావు ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరై ప్రసంగించారు.
ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ జాతీయ నూతన విద్యా విధానం –2020 దేశ ఉన్నత విద్యా స్వరూపాన్ని మార్చనుందని, అందులో భాగంగానే విద్యార్ధులకు మరింత ఉపయోగకారిగా నిలవాలనే ఉద్దేశ్యంతో ఔట్ కం బేస్డ్ ప్రణాలికలను రూపొందించడం, ఎలా సమగ్రంగా ఉపయోగించుకోవాలి అనే అంశాలపై శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
అనంతరం కృష్ణా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ మాజీ ఉపకులపతి, అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయ మాజీ రెక్టర్ ఆచార్య. వి.వెంకయ్య మాట్లాడుతూ నిరంతర అధ్యయనం, ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా వస్తున్న సరికొత్త ఆవిష్కరణలను పరిశోధకులు, అధ్యాపకులు ఎప్పటికి అప్పుడు పరిశీలించాలని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. ఆచార్య. వెంకయ్య మాట్లాడుతూ పరిశోధకుల్లో పరిశోధించాలి అనే చిత్తశుద్ధి, అన్వేషించాలి అనే జిజ్ఞాస అవసరం అని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. తపన లేకుంటే కొత్తవాటిని కనిపెట్టడం, సమాజానికి ఉపయోగపడే వాటిని ఆవిష్కరించడం సాధ్యం కాదని పేర్కొన్నారు. అంతర్జాతీయ జర్నల్స్ లో పరిశోధన పత్రాలు ప్రచురితం అయినప్పుడే ఆ పరిశోధనలకు ప్రాచుర్యం వస్తుందని ఆ దిశగా పరిశోధక విద్యార్ధులు, అధ్యాపకులు పనిచేయాలని సూచించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి అధ్యక్షత వహించిన విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. ఘంటా చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితులలో శిక్షణ ఆవశ్యకతను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని మూడు రోజుల సదస్సును నిర్వహించినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. మూడు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించిన శిక్షణా సదస్సులో అధ్యాపకులకు ఔట్ కం బేస్డ్ ప్రణాలికలను రూపొందించడం పై సమగ్ర అవగాహన కల్పించినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో గౌరవ అతిథిగా పాల్గొన్న విశ్వవిద్యాలయ రిజిస్ట్రార్ ప్రొ. ప్రొ. ఏ.వి.ఎన్. రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ మారిన పరిస్థితులకు అనుగుణంగా అధ్యాపకులు ఎప్పటికప్పుడు కొత్త అంశాలపై అవగాహన పెంపొందించుకోవాలి అని సూచించారు. ఇలాంటి సదస్సులు అధ్యాపకులకు మంచి అవకాశంగా పేర్కొన్నారు.
కార్యక్రమం సెంటర్ ఫర్ ఇంటర్నల్ క్వాలిటీ అస్యూరెన్స్ (సికా) ఇన్ ఛార్జ్ డైరెక్టర్ డా. కె. శ్రీదేవి ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించగా మూడు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించిన ఈ సదస్సు అధ్యాపకులకు ఉపయోగకారిగా నిలువనుందని, ఆయా సెషన్స్ వారీగా నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమ వివరాలను సదస్సులో ఆమె నివేదించారు. కార్యక్రమంలో పలు విభాగాల అధిపతులు, డైరెక్టర్స్, డీన్లు, అధ్యాపక సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
